At this time, I am currently looking for 2 more beta testers. So I figured what better than a CONTEST!


I want to see how creative we can make this. The first beta tester will be chosen Sunday 5/13/2012 at 10pm EST. To enter post in this thread your creative idea for picking the second beta tester. Yes, you are reading correctly...you pick the contest! The theme is EVOLUTION!


Contest #1: Design an Evolution theme contest that will determine who will be beta tester #2. All contest ideas must be in this thread (no PMs) and must in some way be related to Evolution. Winning contest idea will be chosen Sunday at 10pm!
Evolution is defined as a process of gradual, peaceful, progressive change or development. Let's see where this goes!

Contest #3:This is a contest to get some facebook traffic. Go here and like the page.


Then tell all of your friends (vaping friends would be best!) about the page. Have them "like" the page and then leave a comment on the wall saying who sent them.


The person who sends the most people to The Evolution Tank facebook page before Wednesday 5/16/12 at 10pm EST will be the winner.


Winner will be announced at 11pm the same night!

A contest using pictures or diagrams of the evolution of the Electronic Vaping Devices from then....to now!

Show vapor beginning to come out of a simple 510 battery e cig upward, then as the vapor is being disbursted upwards, the device changes to newer and improved products, and continue to change devices as the vapor goes upwards. Then, as the vapor is mid down, change the device slowly to the evolution, so by the time the evolution is in full view, the vapor acts like a mist that the device entered from.

My idea for a contest would be to write how you have Evolved in your vaping. I know most of us vapers usually started out vaping one way with one thing, such as an ego, and have evolved into something new such as a Provari, lavatube, Reo, etc. and cartos atties or tanks and what you feel it was that made you feel you needed to evolve. Such as the ease of convenience of using a carto tank. Then winner would be chosen by random.org. I like contests chosen by random, although most of the contests I see won, who say they used random.com, I am quite skeptical of based on who seems to be winning all the time.

Congrats! I have to say those are absolutely gorgeous tanks and I want one even if I don't win the beta contest. Really really cool!

I would do a contest where people had to chronicle their own personal evolution in vaping, as was previously suggested, then, when testing, have them go back and try it out with as many artifacts as they can dig up. And pictures, lots of pictures.

How about a contest where you post what the evolution of your facial expressions when you found out you won? Could be photographic or descriptive. Of course, it would have to be IF you won. I think reading people describing their facial expression changes would be a hoot! You can forget my earlier post, this is my official entry!

My contest idea:
Post about how you would like to see the e-cig industry evolve, your vision of the future in e-cigs -- whether it is what the industry will look like as a whole, or what the devices/accessories themselves will look like/do. Say, 20 years down the road for example. Could get pretty interesting with lots of cool ideas! Selection could be either the best idea chosen by Sharpi, or random selection, whichever Sharpi prefers of course.

Evolution is a gradual change, punctuated often by large events. Also, a combination of two parts writ large.

The idea: I think it would be cool to choose the second beta testers by having another thread where they have to merge two ideas from THIS thread and "evolving" the ideas.
