I just got a lot of LR (2.1-2.4ohm) CE2 Clearomizers and a Giantomizer for my eGo battery. I threw away two CE2s because, within one tank, they were tasting horribly burnt and the wick was black (even on a full tank, dry pulling and tilting to make sure the wick was wet). The Giantomizer does much better until the tank is 1/2 empty, and then (even with dry pulling and tilting all angles) it starts burning. FYI I'm running 36mg 100% PG through them, and tend to chain-vape for 15, 20mins at a stretch.

Anyone else have these troubles? More to the point, is there anything I'm doing reliably wrong? I have seen a lot of posts from people having the same problem, but just as many say that they have no problem -- I'm wondering if there's a difference in use that's causing the issue.

This is why I use cartos.

And I second that. I have nothing bad bad experience with CE2/3 clearomizers. Have you tried a good tank system? Phiniac Pyrex glass tanks are gorgeous, Jon Boy is also amazing (once piece cap/ming mouthpiece). Both in the $50 range but worth every penny. And they work great with SR Boge cartos.

for chain vaping ( and I am in that club for sure ) I would go with CARTOS, or a DCT tank. You are going to get a lot more out of it without the headaches of dry burns etc.
If you are looking for more advanced options rebuildable attys (Genesis, Scubagen, Zenesis, ORION, Katana) are the way to go. If you have the patience up front you will never be dissapointed.
