sales went through the roof today. Over 600 retail sales on website and ebay, i never run out of stock but its looking like volumes are going to move to a higher level. Excellent, i will keep chirping on to any organisation that will listen. i thought the report was fantastic, the tired grey old men and women from WHO and ASH sounded clueless.

I know what you mean Darcy but it's out of our hands really, the authorities will assess the situation when they are good and ready and do whatever is closest to the law as it stands. Hopefully that will mean assuring proper standards of health and safety are upheld throughout the eliquid supply chain.

Eventually there might be more laws and regulation but fingers crossed that will be in our favour.

I got a very positive email today from a woman at ASH (Action on Smoking and Health - the anti-smoking group). I don't want to say too much at the moment until I've had a bit more correspondence with her but they want esmoking to work as much as we do from the sounds of things. They have influence on regulatory groups so we might have an ally there.

I don't think ASH and WHO are our enemies, they say the same things I would ... lets not make unfounded claims or assume everything in esmoking land is hunky dory because it's not. You know that Pillbox or you wouldn't acknowledge the need to double test eliquid for bad ingredients.

Hi Kate and Mr darcy, there not my enemies im just feeling euphoric, today was a landmark day in my opinion. Of course i will keep improving things, are boxes are all currently being redone with a uk user manual all ref to Who and NRT removed. On the boxes, every detail Trading standards required, same on the cartridge boxes, additionally all carts will carry mg amounts on the 5 piece boxes...

Kate i have no link but i will dig it out and mail it to you...I would never quote something to the press i could not back up, if i did i would highlight...My Opinion only...

I really appreciate you sending me that research report, the more evidence we have of safety the better. Sorry that I reacted to you being quoted out of context.

I have a very good feeling after hearing from ASH that things will turn out just fine for esmoking in the UK. Just a hunch but better than pessimism. It'll be strange to be on the same side as the 'antis', lol.

Kimmie..Im no celebrity but i have the bit between my teeth, Ive just collected the ball and im running with it, i cant sleep and have been up since 6 just waiting for china to awake and place an order..

also had some guy on the phone talking about they can work for parlimentary approval ie move things forwards with MPs..This is a massive market business wise..we now have some of the bigger fish sniffing around...They can buy me out in 2 years, but before then i want to hand them a fully trialed, NHS therapy...And for me my goal re ecigs is attained..the increase in sales helps tremendously as it means are finances can purchase better artillary.. Meaning people with more influence than i have....

well rusty,im asthmatic,and smoked for many years anyway...quit smoking over 6 months ago,just esmoked heavily since then,and feel much better now...chest and breathing improved,dont use my inhaler nearly as often...feel much better all round.

We couldn't keep a good thing hidden forever. That BBC report was a good one, and Jason did well with his words.

The dread is that some quick-buck idiot will end up on the telly proclaiming how safe this is, how it's the best way ever to quit cigarettes, how you can smoke anywhere and tell protestors to bug off, how a hit from an e-cig and 36mg nicotine really spins their head, that the one with a blue LED is the "hot new in bling thing" for the young set, etc.

Now that would be big trouble.

In the states, we have TV stations (can you say "Fox affiliates"?) that would jump at broadcasting such a report. And if the seller has a nose ring and H-A-T-E tattooed across his fingers, all the better for ratings.

Pillbox, I think that is awesome. there should be some early investors knocking at your door. I have some experience with company buy outs...just don't sign anything that makes it that you can't conduct bus in the industry for some unlimited time...after the sale...that is normal...they won't want to compete with you...but in the meantime this is such an early time in this industry and it is risky, one bad clinic test and it may die... if the right money is there sell sell sell...but be able to re enter the industry even if you have to create a new image and name...right now that might sound crazy but those offers will be coming...

Thanks for posting that Paxes.

That article isn't so positive but there's nothing untrue there that I can see. It's a pity ASH are quoted as recommending approved NRTs before esmoking, hopefully we can change that and make esmoking the NRT recommended by them. Time and studies should sort that.
