Seems perfectly normal to me! I was so excited to get my ego kit, I made a two hour round trip to go get it. ( all the stores were out of chargers locally. ) Stalking the mailman is also a common symptom of becoming a vaper, I've realized. I almost had a heart attack when my mail was late on Monday and a huuuuge order of juice due in. O_O

:w00t: I should be getting my juices today from Mt Baker and my Ego-c kit tomorrow. I am excited and nervous at the same time. Is that normal. I am excited to get started and nervous because I really want this to work and get me off the analogs. Anyone else experience this as they were about to start vaping?:toast:
When I got my stuff in the mail, I had decided that if I could get anything out of this I would never smoke again. Really anxious about that commitment.
As soon as I hit my first clearomizer with Tobacco flavor I knew I was on the right track. From there I decided that no matter what it cost I would find something that tasted OK if not even great because the Pall Malls were tasting so bad that ANYTHING would be an improvement.

Slightly over 4 weeks later I have not even touched a cigarette and have 11 1/2 packs in the refrigerator and unless there is a disaster I'll never touch them.

Just commit to this and stick to it. I found something strong for first thing in the morning and after meals and I don't even want a cigarette anymore.

Welcome and congratulations about making a decision to get off the analogs. I think a lot of us have had such difficulty quitting previously that it is indeed very exciting to find something that might actually work (not to mention a method of quitting smoking that doesn't involve a lot of suffering!)

Don't get too anxious about it - it is surprisingly painless! Some people seem to walk away from smoking immediately and some cut down a lot then transition off the last few; some people are more motivated by a disciplined "absolutely no more smoking" and others do better with a lower-stress approach- but all types have been able to be successful with ecigs after figuring out what works for each person.

Lots of support and shared information on ECF. Good luck!

don't put all that pressure on yourself. slow and easy. if you want a few cigs while you step down your intake?, go ahead. all you are doing is changing brands. don't think of it as depriving yourself of something. all will be well.

YAY for YOU! :)

The Ego batt is a great beginning. I coudn't make 'the switch' until I got my first Ego-T. Although leaking was a major PIA, I eventually moved away from the 'T' and got some clearomizers to put on the Ego batt...and the rest is history!

From the first vape, I KNEW I had found the answer! Good luck, and keep us informed. You'll def make astounding progress. Like others wrote above, don't kick yourself if you have a few analogs along the way. Once you find the hardware and eliquid that satisfies you, ALL WILL BE WELL! :D
