Welcome to the ECF. As Curlygirl27 stated, if you don't stop completely smoking at first, don't beat yourself up over it. Try to leave them alone but a relapse is okay. Get plenty of different juices (flavors and strengths). Once you find the perfect one, stick with it until you feel "safe" to venture further. Keep us posted.

Now to stop watching the clock/road ! LOL..... this might be the hardest part. Thanks for the welcomes & for the words of encouragement Curlygirl. My husband also smokes the stinkies, so it will make it more of a challenge. But since I've never cared for the taste of tobacco I'm hoping choosing flavors I enjoy for my juices will help to make the change. ;) After a lot of great reviews, & research I went with Johnson Creek, starting with Chocolate Truffle, Espresso, & Mint Chocolate.

Welcome Desert_Rose!! I've heard a lot of good things about Johnson Creek. I haven't heard of the Inferno yet...looks like I'll have to go and do a little internet window shopping and see what it is!

Curlygirl is right on the spot about not being disappointed if things don't go 100% the first day in. For some, it happens right out the starting gate. Others need to adjust to the learning curve involved with PVs. So, chime in right away if you have questions. This forum is wonderful about helping people out before they start pulling out the hair. As, I'm sure you've already noticed.

Good luck and I know you'll do great.

I'd like to do the same for mine, if he likes it. I just mentioned these savings banners to him and that alone gave him a little more incentive to think about quitting. Do anyone know where I can download one so I can display it on my desktop? He rolls his own with non filters! Double yuck! So anything I can do to encourage him would be helpful.

Thanks in advance!

To get a banner like mine, find one you like then click on it, that will bring up a form to fill out, fill in the information, then it will give up a code, copy the one made for forums. Then go to settings, look on left side you will find edit signature, click that then paste the code in the box, then you are set.

I quit first (after 35 years) and my husband was 'unimpressed' to say the least. I kept on having him try different flavors and eventually gave him his own ego kit to use. He quit analogs after 40 years. This is good because he has COPD and since he quit smoking his blood pressure is down to a normal/healthy range without medication. Didn't even have to b*tch too much at him, just turned him on to many tasty flavors. His fave right now? Roast beef! Nope, I'm not kidding.

Take care,

Another great idea! I can finally start knocking out my wish list. ;) Just a little more incentive... <3 it! And it's here!!! I even got the package from Johnson Creek & I wasn't expecting that until tomorrow, NICE!!! So now I do have a question... my atty is very long. Do they come with a blank cartridge attached? It looks like I can pull it off but I'm not sure.

Confused, but charging! Lol
