As of this moment, I'm rocking a 1.7-1.8 ohm carto in a 3.5mL DCT at 4V. It's perfect. I can rock it at 4.2 if I want just a bit more TH, but I generally wouldn't go above 4.2.

Enjoy the Twist. If you're planning to use DCTs with cartos that don't have the little wing at the end, like the smoktek cartos, then just be careful about sliding the tank to far is it may slide over the threading. A little screw on sleeve takes care of that though, plus it looks a bit more aesthetically appealing.

Ok so I got it and I am charging it up as I type this it has been charging for about 25 minutes. I can't wait to try it out! The voltage numbers are hard to read is my only complaint so far.

"I know not everyone goes to the forums specific to their device and this may even apply to others as well. I have seen a few people asking for a way to read the numbers on the twist better and I wanted to share my method. This was also posted in a thread in the ego forums.

What I did was color the sides of the base with a black sharpie. I let it dry and wiped off the excess. The chrome spots wiped right off and the black stayed on the letters. Here is the results."

You got that right! I am at work just waiting for UPS to drive up it's killing me! I have my charger ready to give that battery a full charge. I feel like a 44 year old kid at Christmas time! lol

I've actually gone outside a couple of times and waited for the mailman to hand me my vape stuff. It's nice to get something besides bills from him, haha.

That is awesome! Going to do that now. When it is between say 3.2 and 3.4 does it actually set it to 3.3?

Man this thing is awesome! With my MyBoro juice I set it to 3.3 and it tasted great. I decided to top it off with some Green Apple and it was ok, so I bumped the voltage up to 3.8 and it really made the apple pop! I love the taste of the Green Apple but it just didn't seem to have the punch until now. Life is good in the Beam house today!!

Congratulations! It should come at least 80% charged. Just fast click five times to turn it on and enjoy. You can charge at any point with no problems. Which size did you get?

How low? I don't go any lower than 1.7 ohm but that's just me. I'm afraid of being to hard on the switch no matter what the rating. The advantage of vv is you can use a higher ohm carto and turn the voltage up to get to your sweet spot. Low ohm cartos are mainly for low voltage batteries.

I never could figure out the pros and cons of the various ohm ratings. What makes sense when?

Yeah I have no clue really either. I just knew I like the Apple, but it was a very weak hit, so when I added the apple I took a draw and it seemed weak so I bumped up the voltage and that did it.

I'm jealous. I was going to order my first Twist as soon as my credit card comes. I temporarily lost it at a Moe's so I blocked it but they wont unblock it. They shut it down and mail you a new card with a new account number. Should get it this week and the first thing I'm doing is ordering the Twist. Happy vaping Mike! Give us a couple more reviews as the night wears on. Thanks. Ed

And that's all you really need to know except that lower ohm cartos aren't going to be any better. I'd go higher next time like a 2.4 and just turn the voltage up till you get what you want. Congrats and thanx for sharing your joy with us.

Still vaping and the experience has been great. I have noticed I am going thru the juice quicker, but that was to be expected. I am really loving the twist. Thanks for all the great advice. My vaping experience is so much better than when I started a few years ago.

I am going to post some photos later tonight of my setup and where I came from in vaping. I hope everyone has a great day!

Great Mike. I'll look forward to seeing them. Some of the older stuff goes back farther than I do. Always nice to see a little history of vaping. If you decide you want to know a little more about the volt/ohm/amp relationship let me know and we'll do it in pm. I don't like posting a bunch of things in the new member forum that confuses and scares people into thinking this is too hard.
