Great Mike. I'll look forward to seeing them. Some of the older stuff goes back farther than I do. Always nice to see a little history of vaping. If you decide you want to know a little more about the volt/ohm/amp relationship let me know and we'll do it in pm. I don't like posting a bunch of things in the new member forum that confuses and scares people into thinking this is too hard.

I usually understood it to be "lower ohms = lower volts; higher ohms = higher volts" as paraphrased by GrimmGreen. :p

That is correct. Any farther than that such as consistent wattage and amperage draw is more along the lines of purist and hobbiest. vaping can either be kept economical and simple and enjoyed or taken to more expensive and more precise levels. Too low ohms on too high voltage can result in problems. Ask anybody who's ever put a 1.5 dual coil carto on an older model Lava Tube and cranked up the voltage.

Here is a few pics from my start in vaping.

IMAG0369.jpg IMAG0368.jpg

This was my first ecig and first ecigar. It leaked alot, and the addys didn't last very long. The carts would leak into the batteries causing the automatic battery to fire in my pocket. I burned my leg a few times.

IMAG0370.jpg

I had to dig deep in my toolbox for this stuff.

IMAG0371.jpg

Some RN4072 addys, carts, and batteries.

IMAG0372.jpg

I do not miss the mess and leaking of all this mess. I did alot of refilling.

Compared to a few years ago I now love my equipment. I would urge anyone getting in to vaping do a little research, don't be overwhelmed, and buy some decent equipment because it will make the experience more enjoyable.

Excitement and adventure yay! I love my 650 mah ego twists (have blue, red, pink, black LOL) It's fun experiementing which juices taste good at which volt and then the differences between cartos, clearos, cartridges or just dripping on attys :p :vapor:

It is fun aint it? Sure is healthier and cheaper too. Maybe that's why it's fun.

Well, I went PM with Wuzznt Me and he took me through the ropes with amps, watts, volts, and ohms. It was awesome! He explained things beautifully with regard to those relationships and how they impact the vaping experience. Yes, I understood him clearly and I'm not an electrical engineer. It is easily (by light years) the most important lesson I got on e-cigs and is invaluable in terms of how to set up an e-cig, future purchases of components, and troubleshooting when things go wrong. He is reluctant to post it on the forum because he doesn't want to scare people. What he doesn't know is, there are many people who could benefit tremendously from this knowledge and it wont be too hard for many people to understand because he is skilled at explaining things. He doesn't know it yet, but I am going to try to get him to do a synposis like he did with me and post it on the forum anyway. Maybe not the new members forum but one of the other ones. If he doesn't then I will and he will be aptly credited for it. When a guy can explain the workings of an e-cig as well as Wuzznt Me did, it could be the difference between ditching the e-cig (and going back on analogs) and making the e-cig better than any cigarette you ever had. None of us want to make that choice...do we? So stay tuned as I try to get Wuzznt Me to share his knowledge.

My pile is starting to look like your pile but your pile is still bigger than my pile. Don't get too excited ladies! Wanna see my pile of electric football players?

Wow, that's a giveaway. I just bought a 650mah Twist today for $25 and thought that was a decent price. Hope those $19 ones aren't ones that were rolling around the bottom of a drawer.

I have no idea really. I've read good reviews about their website. I know they ordered the stock pretty recently reading through the supplier thread. Anyway I have no idea about the manufacturer which is LOTS Technology. We'll see how it works.

Absolutely. For $19 stinking bucks how can you go wrong? Even if it blows up the first day it would still be worth the risk.
