28 year 2 pack a day smoker going on 2 months of no analog.

Have never stopped for this long in the half dozen times I've tried to quit.

The initial cost is a bit high but no higher than purchasing cigarettes for a month. Finding what you like etc.

I am using the V2 with medium lvl's of nicotine. I do plan to quit totally within the next year or two. The thing about quitting smoking is not the nicotine at ALL! It is the habit and comfort (gross to say that but true) of lighting and smoking a cigarette for years and years and years.

My 22 yr old son, who doesn't smoke at all told me quite a few college kids switched to the e cig or doing the larger model vaping devices instead of the analog. I can honestly say that the thing I most regret in my entire 48 years of living is picking up the horrible habit of smoking. Although doing neither is best for a person mentally and physically I would rather see these young kids vaping.

I don't have any questions I just wanted to let everyone here know how much of a help this site has been in the last two months for me. Oh...I do have a question! How do I get the counter tag for how many days of no analog lol.

So happy to find this site :)

welcome.. quitting is def easier with an e-cig.. here's why it's been hard for me to quit.. and Although I think that nic plays a part.. there are other reasons.
1. Hand to mouth.. It's habit do it all the time, then stop.. and it's hard to give that part up..
2. Stepping away .. At work it's a great reminder / way to get away from the desk, get up, walk around and
2b. It's social with folks at work.. althoguh out of the 3-5 of us that go out and smoke together.. now 3-4 of us vape.
3. Bored.. I had 1 smoke a day on my ride into work.. when I moved a bit furhter away it was 2.. imagine that

now I satisfy those 3 and my light nic addiction

Welcome to ECF. I'll wager you quit smoking before your 2 year time period once you find the juices you enjoy. Vaping does replace that feeling of having something in your hand and something to puff on.

As for the banner, click on any one you like and it will take you to another website where you can fill in your data. Once you do that it will give you a code to copy, come back here and click on "Settings" (top of page). On the new page, look on the left side for "Edit Signature"; paste the code and your done. I think you need 15 or 20 post in order to edit your signature, should take about 5 minutes.. :)

All you have to do is just reply to any post until your post count (under your name over on the left, you will see "Posts: 1). When that goes to 5 wait about an hour, then you will be able to get your counter.

When you finally get your 5 count up, go to settings at the top of this page (next to profile). Click on that, click on edit signature. That is where you will paste the code.

If you still have questions, just ask. We were all new at one time :) Welcome aboard!
