As many of you know, we launched our first product - The Darwin - a mere 11 months ago. Our new product - The Kick - is currently in public testing.

But here is the BIG news: Evolv is extremely proud to announce a new working alliance with Dimension Engineering! As many of you (especially modders) already know, Dimension Engineering enjoys a well established reputation for designing and fabricating top quality power electronic modules.

About a year and a half ago, Dimension Engineering began to notice some of their components being used in e-cig devices and became intrigued by the potential of the e-cigarette industry. While these Dimension components work well in some PV applications, they were not originally designed for these uses. Dimension strongly believes Evolv’s Patent Pending Power Regulation technology is the best way to construct an electronic cigarette. Dimension also found Evolv’s values, outlooks, and approach to business compatible with their own. Evolv and Dimension Engineering are proud to announce that Dimension Engineering has acquired a stake in Evolv and these two companies will now be working together to design electronic cigarette components and products.

The new Evolv/Dimension joint venture will be structured as follows: retail products such as the Kick will be marketed and supported under the Evolv brand, OEM components and modules will be sold by Dimension Engineering with Evolv co-branding. The Kick is the first product developed under this agreement.

All of us here at Evolv and Dimension Engineering wish each and every one of you the Happiest of Holiday Seasons and a very Happy New Year.

Congrats. I really think power-regulated devices will be the future, especially for newbies. Though the darwin itself is cost prohibitive (for them), and it's form factor has less appeal that an ego or standard 510 for a new user, the technology inside has the potential vastly shorten the learning curve associated with switching from analogs to ecigs.

I will be very excited to see a modders board that mimics the darwin's capability and believe that once we see power regulation in different configurations, and at a potentially lower price point, new users will not need to spend so much time learning about how their devices work, and just use them as intended, increasing our conversion rate, and henceforth, our total numbers.

Good job guys!
