Yeah that's me.

I'm exhausted because I had to make 15 meaningful posts in the new members forum before I could post here.

That's after months of lurking and one week of vaping.

So yeah, I guess I'm still quite the n00b.

6 days vaping and I've smoke two annys. That's INSTEAD of the normal 120.

And by the way, the analogs were because of bad battery planning and they tasted like POO POO after vaping for a few days.

Anyhow, should have posted this as the topic line but I was EXHAUSTED.

How are you holding it?

At first, I got the V4L shorties to simulate a cigarette experience. So I held it and hit it like a cigarette.

Now I'm all comfortable with being a vaper and I hold the instrument much differently. I kind of hold it like a pencil but still make sure I keep the view open for ppl to see my sexy blue LED.

So my question, I guess, is that if you have picked up the V4L as a replacement for analogs, are you finding that you hold it in a different (more sexy James Bond) way?

Just curious in Orlando,

Don

Hello, and welcome to the non-new-members part of the forum (I hated that too - heh)

I tend to hold manuals a bit like a microphone, with my thumb by my chin on the button... I guess a bit like you'd hold a hookah.

I'm also becoming exceptionally fond of my automatic shorty, for the cigarette-simulation... usually stuck in my mouth, grasped with my teeth, slightly to the side... like I used to hold a cigarette. That's where I've got some lovely Wowrazz right now as I type this with both hands, in fact!

Hmmm. had to actually put it up to my mouth to figure this out.

When I smoked analogs it was always between my index and middle finger, and I always flicked WAY too much (anxiety release) with my thumb.

Now that I vape, I would say its a much more relaxed experience.... I hold it with my thumb underneath and my index and middle fingers on top. other two fingers free. I tend to hold it more at a vertical slant with the light facing downwards. Though one habbit I have found that I have picked up, and dont even realize I do, is that I hold the carto with my teeth sometimes. I find bite marks on them alot. I guess that is just making up for the nervous flicking maybe....

HAHA... Well this almost seems like a personal question...

But I kinda get my whole hand involved. I wrap all of my fingers and thumb around it and sort of cup it. I dont squeeze on it just kinda firmly support it. If I would compare, Kinda like smokin an analog when your trying to hide the cherry. Theres no actual reason why I do this it is jus comfy lol.

Thumb on the bottom over the button and the lighted end in my palm. I got use to that stealth vaping in the hospital and at the movies.

LOL! I know! I leaned my lesson when a nurse asked what I thought I was smoking in Mom's private room (she had an infection) I spent a half hour explaining..then I had to explain to the parade of staff she sent in to check it out! It was nice sharing, but I do wish they had come in togeather. Plus doing it in a mask was tough!
