well, that was unecessary...
now I'm satisfied with vaping. But.... I'm having stupid side cravings. I had a bad day & bought a pack of analogs, cuz I couldn't buy just one! smoked it throughout the week, doing pretty ok, but now feeling very restless & unsatisfied right this moment. starting to chain vape... maybe that'll fix it...

I would suggest you try some of the WTA nicquids available if your still smoking or having cravings.
You could also up your nicotine intake also and see how that works.
What level are you using right now? Snus are also a great way to help relieve the smoking cravings.
C.B.

Shmoo, Cigar babe has it right, as well as vaping more when you have that urge for a smoke, but it makes me also think you may not have enough of a high power mod crating a bigger thicker vapor which can also be more satisfying, a new mod may be in the works here for you too :) and chain vaping is OK, and much better then smoking for sure.

Those 'side cravings' you mentioned are what kept me going back and forth from vaping to analogs, for over TWO YEARS. I finally made 'the switch' with a few bottles of WTA juice from Vapelicious.com. When those "cravings" attack, I pull out the WTA juice for a day, and that takes care of it. I've been totally into vaping ever since.

Ethan (juice artist at Vapelicious) is still working to get his website up and running for easier ordering, but don't let that stop you from ordering (if you choose to do so).

I believe the guy at Aromaejuice.com is also planning to offer WTA juice, but he's never had any in stock when I was ready to order. (I just checked...he still doesn't have any.)

I've never tried snus, so don't know how well it works...but I KNOW the WTA has been a Godsend for ME...and Ethan makes some darn good juice, too!

Totally agree, it would also be a good idea to step up your nic level. Which can calm the cravings as well. But yeah, getting a new mod always bring the fun back to vaping. Also, if your not allergic to PG then I would get some 100%PG along with the higher nic. That will give you TH like you won't believe.

The other part to this site explains using snus is just as healthy as e-cigs, as the tobacco has been processed in a similar fashion to remove the more toxic components of analogs, yet will assist with the craving better because it also contains the other addictive ingredients analogs have (look to the section for list, I don't remember their technical names). Anyways, this might bridge you gracefully back to e-cig as a sole provider of the beloved nicotine.

Cheers.

IMO, the vast majority of the time if someone is vaping, but still getting cravings for a real cigarette, the solution is a higher nicotine level than they've been using.

When I started vaping, I was a heavy smoker, 3+ packs a day. I started with 24mg nic juice, and that helped a lot, but I would still get cravings for a real cig after eating. I started using 30mg juice for those occasions, and using 24mg as my "all day". As soon as I started using the 30mg that way, I quit smoking. Any time I'd get a craving, I'd use the 30mg. I didn't need the 30mg for long, and I still have most of it.

The last time I bought juice, I got it in 18mg level. I wasn't out of the 24 that I had been using, and so far, I've been mixing the 24 and 18 at about half-and-half, so that means what I'm vaping over the past week or so is about 21mg. I don't really notice the difference, and by the time I use the last of that 24, I expect doing all 18mg will be just fine.

But if I'd started on 18mg, I'd probably still be smoking.

Ok, back up and run over that one again. Whatcha vaping - nic level - and whatcha vaping it with? I would think, as many have suggested, if you are still having cravings 11 months in then something needs to be tweaked. More info please.

And what was the cigarette experience like? I'm curious, because within 60 days of my last cigarette the smell of second hand smoke just made me nauseous. (Didn't see that coming...) The memory of even how unpleasant the last few cigarettes I smoked were is still enough to stop me dead in my tracks if I do have a "wanna cigarette" craving. Which is, thankfully, a very rare thing.

At 26 mg nic - and staying put.

Thanks all so much for the feedback! I dropped the ball & got distracted yesterday, sorry for not checking back & responding. The analogs are all gone (smoked) as of a couple of days ago. I currently go between a vmod, stick style vapor king manual, a roughstack, or passthrough. All mostly at 3.7 to 5 volts possibly on the passthrough? Liquids range from 18mg to 24mg, though I recently bought some 36mg, good timing :) . I like a variety of units & flavors or I get bored, so constantly switching things up.
In dealing withe the recent cravings I've chain vaped. I've used swedish snus white portion. I found the snus really helped kick my hard cravings when I first put down the analogs to go 100% go vaping last february, so I always keep some on hand & have used them more this last couple of months since going back to work full time. Thank goodness I can get swedish snus where I live, I don't think they're sold everywhere, but I've found only one smoke shop locally that carries them.
Smoking a pack of analogs this last week brought back a slight cough, made my brain feel sort of 'fuzzy' - don't quite know how to describe it- cottoney. gave me a headache. I did enjoy the smell of that first analog, I think that was the most enjoyable part of this pack of analogs, but the initial enjoyment faded before I'd even finished the first one. I also found the throat hit of the analog seriously lacking any substantial 'punch' :) Gunked up my lungs for a week, made my nose stuffy. good times. I felt a little sick in the mornings & my lungs sortof hurt. yep, look what I've been missing this year!!
The cravings are fading, but all in all, this experiment was interesting, mostly unpleasant, & I wouldn't recomend it to others. I'm so glad I really love vaping!!!
