So previously I had been ranting about finding a way to vape Kretek and it not gunk up my attys and have to buy alcohol to fix this problem. So recently, I had a 4oz bottle of Kretek (clove cig flavor e-liquid) and I had a small amount left if you took a nickel at sat it up right against the bottle thats how much I had left of a 70% PG 30% VG Sweetened 4 oz bottle of Kretek. So I took some Kosher USP Grade Propylene Glycol and filled the rest of the 4 oz bottle of Kretek with PG. Recap'd the bottle. Shook the hell outta it. And the the Kretek was no longer as dark. It was much more translucent-ish in color still had that amber goldish color to it though... I loaded up an atty on my Ali'i at 5.5ish volts and tried it out. It tasted strangely at first very much like Spiced Rum but then it started to change to what I love my beloved Kretek! Unfortunately, this experiment didn't work as well as I had hoped... It did last a little longer before the flavor drastically gets strangely dull in taste for me. But essentially I realize that I am only prolonging the inevitable. Eventually the coil gets gunked up and gets dull in taste (at least for me)... Although this did extend it a little longer, it wasn't a significant increase in delay before the flavor dulled out. So with that said, I suppose I am content using filler cartos to enjoy my Kretek as it is still very good that way and it does strangely seem to last for the approximate time (of needing to throw the carto away using Kretek as about the same time I would need to throw away an atty, but you wouldnt normally throw away a 7ish dollar atty away after 2 days, hell, much less 30 days) But using a carto filled with Kretek and then chucking it after a few days is fair to me. Alas, this is how I shall continue to enjoy my Kretek. Until some day... THEY MAKE A SAUCER COIL ATTY! YEAAAA C'MON FUTURE! lol
