Trouble with my juice

Very frustrating. This stuff has that great taste, but there are a few things I'm having trouble with. My hardware is a Protege and BB, using Joye 510 attys with the BFD mod. Bottles ordered are 36 or 24 mg, 20% VG.

First is with the tobacco flavor. I can pop on a new atty and fresh cart, and for about a day it it tastes and wicks great. But after that the burnt taste starts and it doesn't act like its wicking right. I start going through my cleaning processes until I finally get frustrated to pop on another new atty for a day or two, and it starts again.

The second is with Kretek. This tastes great, but has anyone noticed a very strong and unpleasant after-smell, or is it just my order? The evening I tried it my wife and daughter told me if I wanted to vape that I'd have to do it outside.

I never had these issues with AC or bananas foster. Is it to much VG in the juice? The new nic base?

I've noticed a similar problem with my Tobacco juice. I've recently have been using it exclusively with Cartomizers bc it seems the tobacco juice like to kill my attys.

After i was finished with a few of the first cartomizers i had used with the tobacco flavor, i broke them apart to see if i could notice anything wrong. What i found was what looked like burnt tobacco juice. The carts weren't dry like they normally get when your finished with them. They just had a small think amount of much darker unvaped juice. (im not 100% of this being the reason for atty killing, but it would make some sense)

I'm gonna guess this has to do with the home made tobacco flavoring Geoff uses in the tobacco juice. Def not awesome.

If there is a way to fix this PLEASE Geoff, do it. I would make babies with that tobacco juice if it were a person.

The Tobacco and Tobacco/Menthol flavors are especially hard on attys. Do yourself a BIG favor and stick with cartomizers when you're vaping these.

Ironically, the cartos seem to last longer than the stock attys, especially the 510 cartos. I get maybe 4-5 refills with those...

As long as I'm not the only person experiencing this, I can stop driving myself crazy.

I have tried the 808 cartos, but have to use a thread adapter; all my gear is 510 based. Although I have been reading the new 510 carts work well, I've also read my protege's threads won't fit it.

Not that using carto's are bad, but you pretty much have no choice with those juices. Luckily carts do last for a few days and you can get they really cheap. So at least its more cost efficient than killing your attys after a few days.
