Hello,

I've been spending time learning the ropes with my new Provari 2.0 (as well as a VmodXL and Vmod 2.0, but those are for another thread).

I bought about a billion ml of juice from various vendors, all 100% VG. I'm looking for flavor and dense vapor, not concerned with throat hit. Most juices are at the minimal nicotine concentration, 5-6mg, and a few are 0mg.

I have been getting phenomenal clouds and flavor from my Protank and Evod tanks, both with 2.0 ohm resistance, set to about 4.2-4.3 volts.

I have not been ale to replicate that when dripping using attys and a drip shield, which I have been using to taste the obscene number of samples I purchased. I would like to get my dripping experience to match that which I get with the Protank and Evod.

I have tried using attys with various resistances, between 1.3 and 2.6, but I can't quite seem to get the right combo of resistance and voltage. The attys are mostly purchased from VapeNY. I also tried a couple of the Hybrid attys that came with my Vmods (1.5 and 2.2 ohms), but I get similar experiences - not quite the cloud I want, and flavor is flat, to the point where multiple juices have similar flavors. Even a fresh, unused atty leads to the same results, so it is not an issue of cleaning out the atty of old juice (which I do).

Should I be looking for higher quality attys? Perhaps I should try the HH357s? Should I try a high resistance atty, like 3 ohms? LR attys on the Provari seem to thin out the flavor, bordering on a burnt taste. I don't mind spending bit to experiment and get it right.

It seems like I very much enjoy the various wick-based clearos - Protank, Evod, Iclear30, Vivi Nova - and do not at all enjoy dripping using any of the atomizers I currently own. The Vmod 2.0 and XL using the Vapage Hybrid atomizer give me pretty decent vapor clouds, but the flavor is lacking compared to the Provari with any of the devices mentioned. And any atomizer on the Provari used for dripping gives me little flavor as well. I tried some Mom & Pop Pchela's 5 Flavor a few times dripping into an atomizer, and was wondering what the big fuss was about. Then I poured some into the Tatroe, and WOW that stuff was incredible.

I might try a few of the suggested atomizers - an HH357 at around 2.0 ohms, and perhaps some cheaper Ciscos at 1.5/2.5/3.0 ohms. Otherwise, I may have to bite the bullet and just pick up an Ebaron Dripper Pro - if I can ever find one in stock.

Anyone know of an ego adapter that will work with evods and the provari? The one I ordered from provape doesn't fit/work.

I've heard that, for some strange reason, the ones ProVape has have not been that great.

I have one that I got a while back from SmokTek.com. While I don't use my eVods and T3s much anymore, the adapter works very well. I think it was like $3 or something.

i read earlier in the provari threads about the adapter not working for some things due to the center pin not coming up far enough to make contact, someone suggested screwing the provape adapter on to the provari and then using a small screw driver to "unscrew" the center pin a bit... apparently while its on the provari it keeps the bottom portion of the center pin from spinning and allows one to actually unscrew the top part making the center pin a bit taller
