Hello,
I've been spending time learning the ropes with my new Provari 2.0 (as well as a VmodXL and Vmod 2.0, but those are for another thread).
I bought about a billion ml of juice from various vendors, all 100% VG. I'm looking for flavor and dense vapor, not concerned with throat hit. Most juices are at the minimal nicotine concentration, 5-6mg, and a few are 0mg.
I have been getting phenomenal clouds and flavor from my Protank and Evod tanks, both with 2.0 ohm resistance, set to about 4.2-4.3 volts.
I have not been ale to replicate that when dripping using attys and a drip shield, which I have been using to taste the obscene number of samples I purchased. I would like to get my dripping experience to match that which I get with the Protank and Evod.
I have tried using attys with various resistances, between 1.3 and 2.6, but I can't quite seem to get the right combo of resistance and voltage. The attys are mostly purchased from VapeNY. I also tried a couple of the Hybrid attys that came with my Vmods (1.5 and 2.2 ohms), but I get similar experiences - not quite the cloud I want, and flavor is flat, to the point where multiple juices have similar flavors. Even a fresh, unused atty leads to the same results, so it is not an issue of cleaning out the atty of old juice (which I do).
Should I be looking for higher quality attys? Perhaps I should try the HH357s? Should I try a high resistance atty, like 3 ohms? LR attys on the Provari seem to thin out the flavor, bordering on a burnt taste. I don't mind spending bit to experiment and get it right.
