Expert Poundcake flavoring and Coconut Poundcake from DIY Flavorshack

Don't get me wrong, I'm a loyal customer as Dawn has me hooked on her Gooey Buttercake and Buttercream frosting e-liquids and does have a number of flavorings I do enjoy for DIY e-liquids....

However, I ordered the Expert Poundcake flavoring as well as the Coconut Poundcake ready to vape e-liquid as they sounded right up my alley. First I tried creating a DIY e-liquid with the Expert Poundcake flavoring. I did note that the flavoring had a strong chemical smell. Nothing like poundcake at all!! After steeping a few days I tried it and at first thought the carto was faulty so I tried it in another one. Same results. The taste was absolutely horrid and I blamed it on my nic juice which I thought had gone bad for some reason. Then I tried the Coconut poundcake e-liquid I ordered pre-mixed and ready to vape and it had the same exact chemical taste! It was so overwhelming I couldn't tell there was coconut flavoring in there at all. Thought I could fix it and mixed coconut flavoring I had purchased from another vendor months ago that I knew tasted wonderful but nothing can save this stuff.

My advice? Anything from DIY Flavorshack that has "Poundcake" in the title you should stay far, far, away from. It was perhaps the nastiest flavoring I have ever had the displeasure of attempting to vape!!!

Took me so long to reply to this for an update due to having to upgrade my computer system with new hardware and reformat my hard drive and reinstall everything!!! At any rate, Dawn contacted me and wanted to make this right. I asked her if she could send me a pre-mixed Poundcake to ensure that *I* wasn't doing anything wrong or perhaps the nic juice I was using was no good, etc. She went far and beyond the call of duty and shipped me all sorts of stuff! I want to add to this that HER pre-mixed poundcake (as opposed to my DIY mixture using her Expert Poundcake flavoring) was much better!

Unfortunately I'm still not too crazy about it but that seems to be a matter of personal taste. This e-liquid is apparently one of her best sellers. Also the coconut poundcake she sent me as well didn't float my boat either. Again, I believe this is simply a matter of personal taste. However I SO appreciate her going above and beyond the call of duty to make this right with me and the juices and flavorings won't go to waste. I'm slowly collecting more stuff for my next PIF package and I'm sure someone will totally enjoy these flavorings and e-juices!

She also sent me some Nilly Bean Ice Cream e-juice and this is going to make a fantastic mixer with tons of other flavors\e-juices! The possibilities are endless. LOL I really wanted to like the Poundcakes because she was so sweet about this but I just don't. BUT, her mixture did not taste overwhelmingly like chemicals as mine did so apparently I mixed in far too much flavoring as she told me if you do that a chemical taste will result. At any rate she has tons of other flavorings and e-liquids that I simply cannot live without, Poundcake just isn't one of them
