Expired Suppliers

Some suppliers go out of business. In the case of suppliers with a forum, we have to delete their forum. The posts get moved to a holding area and we then decide if it's worth finding another home for them. In most cases that won't happen, though if we can find some solution to this issue it can be considered.

You can enquire in this thread about these 'ex-suppliers'.

Here is the list of expired / removed supplier forums. Some of these went out of business, some were removed because their owners did not post in the forums for a long period of time, therefore ignoring our requirement to support their customers. And some didn't pay their forum fee.

Only unless another supplier has taken over the business there would be no use for any information. It's not worth using up the bandwidth to store it anywhere.

Just like with other companies that go out of business, the old records are worthless to anyone else.

Edit to ad: Even then, if it was taken over, surely the new owner will run things differently. So still the old records would be redundant.

I would think that a thread of this kind would be helpful, especially if you were able to provide some sort of contact information:

New or old mailing address
ditto regarding Phone and email.

Might be useful to members with unfinished customer service issues like refunds/incomplete orders, etc.
