Hey forum, I'm still waiting on my mini. I looked around, but nothing jumps out at me explaining de-wicking, or de-bridging. I have not a clue what either term means or how it's done. But I'm sure it has something to do with better vapeing. If someone could give me a link or could take time to explain, I would like to learn.

I order debridged 510s from FreedomsmokeUSA.com. They are really good for dripping. You get lots of flavor from the debridged atty. I heard there are videos on youtube. Probably find it if you search for the term. Wick is removing the wick under the bridge.

I am waiting on my REO Mini to arrive, too!

You'll have to excuse the quality of this picture but I cropped it way down so you could see the atty. This is a LR306 and the silver material that kind if arched over the top is the wick and the part underneath that gives it its shape is the bridge. The wick helps feed your juice down into the coil of your atomizer. From what I understand the bridge just helps keep the wicks shape. Some people like to carefully remove the wick and the bridge because doing so offers the cleanest tasting vape from the atomizer. The wick will tend to retain flavors of the different juices if you change juices a lot. If you burn or scorch your juice while vaping, the wick will tend to retain that taste as well. Removing both of these things takes a little practice but there's plenty of videos on YouTube describing what to do. Keep in mind that it's not something that you have to do, some people just prefer it.

That's about the easiest way I could describe it, hope it wasn't confusing lol maybe someone can explain better :)

Agreed. I learned searching You Tube so I would recommend that as well.

But basically what you do is get yourself a small pair of tweezers. Reach inside the atty, grab the mesh arch and gently rock it back and forth until it breaks loose. Remove the white threading, then grab the bridge and gently wiggle that out as well. I wish I could explain it better, but you really need to see it. The you tube video will really help.
