Having an annoying problem with my Expromizer, and curious to know if anyone else has experienced a similar issue.
No matter what the build, I am getting added resistance, which ultimately makes it not perform as intended. The difference is as much as .25Ω.
I have completely disassembled the base and cleaned the threading, and even replaced the copper spring in the base, which I had ordered as a back-up incase I lost it. All connections are tight and clean.
Current build should come in right at .8Ω, but consistantly reads high on two different 510 resistance checkers. Usually over 1.0Ω
Any suggestions appreciated.
I have not been able to test it with my meter yet, but will be taking it to work on Monday to chase it down.
