Extra silicone on the Vision CE4?

Love the longer wicks on the Vision, but found an extra silcone ring loose yesterday on the top inside. It's not from the tip, that is still there. And this one is just a tad bigger than the one on the tip. Since it still vapes like it should I am not worried...but of course I am curious, where did is come loose from?

There is a silicone ring just inside the top that seals against the smooth part of the tip before the threads but it does not need it.
