Extracting green tea from whole leaf green tea.

This isn't a question about the process of extracting it, I already know how to do that.

Every one knows how good for you drinking green tea is and it's in fact one of my favorite ice tea drinks. I make ice tea from imported whole leaf green tea from the Darjeeling region of Napal and not the cheap processed tea bag type from the supermarket and it is wonderful and so good for you.

My question is do you think there are any medicinal health benefits from vaping the extracted stuff or is it just a good flavor choice to make a great tea vape out of?

You would have to analyze your finished product to see if it contains the chemical compounds that drinking it contains. Considering you'd drink a lot more of the "actives" than you'd inhale, I'd hazard a guess that vaping it isn't going to see any increase in health benefits.

Not to mention, discussions of this type really aren't encouraged as now we're getting into "health claims".

Yeah, it would pretty much fall under the reasoning we move similar stuff to Not Advisable.

ECF does not endorse or support the vaping of pharmaceuticals or "health aids" because this is exactly the stuff that will force the industry into mandated FDA regulation as drug delivery devices.

Much like the snake oil claims by some e-liquid makers that include vitamins and other over the counter stuff.

I'll go ahead and close. :)
