I went back to eye doctor this week and even though my glaucoma pressure number is temporarily a higher number than normal, my checkup for surgery was great news! I am now seeing 20/25! I no longer need glasses! I need readers, but nothing for distance. I am so blessed, and here I was complaining about I never should have had surgery, blah blah blah. As usual, I feel small and humbled. I tell you, the Lord always makes me eat my words. Praise God they don't have calories! I am always amazed at what He does for me and loves me inspite of myself. I haven't been 20/25 since I was in jr. high school and that was after Noah's Ark landed.

"was blind but now I see." The scales of lies fell off my eyes when I became a blood bought born again in August 1985. The other scales fell off when I had surgery on my eyes. You have to clean the scales off of fish to eat them. (I don't eat fish.....if I'd been one of the folks when Jesus fed the 5,000, I'd have asked for mac and cheese.)There are all kind of scales, and none of them are any good for a child of the King. Just a silly thought. :w00t:

Great post, Mighty! We as humans have a bad habit of only being in the now. But we have to remember where we've been to appreciate where we are going......sometimes the Lord answers the 'whys' and sometimes He doesn't. I have an issue or 2 to ask the Lord, but then, by the time I get there, it won't really matter.
