:blink:Ive read a two posts were someone said their eye twitched :blink:when they started vaping, theres a medical term for it but i forgot. I have noticed my left eye really starts buggin sometimes. not when im vaping really hard or anything just occasionally and i never had a problem before.
Think it could just be irritated by the pg/nic/flavor?
Anybody got any ideas

Comment if you have had a twitching problem to

Thanks

I've had that periodically for years (prior to vaping and since), and I've generally attributed it to fatigue:
Eyelid twitch: MedlinePlus Medical Encyclopedia
"The most common things that make the muscle in your eyelid twitch are fatigue, stress, and caffeine."

Perhaps the transition away from tobacco causes some stress, but my non-expert opinion would be that it's not directly related.

It called blephitis I think. I got this a few times before I started vaping and I think it was from too much coffee, and also reading a lot on the computer. It could also be because you're getting too much nic, it's a stimulant like caffeine, but if you're not feeling any symptoms due to nic OD I wouldn't worry about it being the vapor. If it persists for a while you should go see a doc, mine lasted about a week and went away on it's own before I got to see a doc :).

I believe you're referring to fasciculations. I've had them on and off since I was a kid. No specific places, just random muscles from time to time, including the eye. I don't think it's related to vaping per se, as they can be caused by (among other things) stimulants, which nicotine and caffeine qualify as. They can also be caused by dehydration, which is a side effect of vaping, since VG and PG are both humectants. Reducing stress and anxiety, drinking lots of water, and taking in an adequate supply of vitamins and minerals (particularly magnesium) can help mitigate them.

Its probably from reading to many post here!:laugh:

Really, truly that happened to me when I started vaping. Got the eyelid twitches and blurred vision. Realized that I was spending way too much time on ECF. Cut down a bit and started concentrating on looking away from the screen every now and then, and the eye problems went away.
