F1 Code on Mini Lambo 4.0

Hi guys and gals. So I got a Mini Lambo 4.0 today that I have been waiting for all week. So I fired it up, put a ViVi Nova on it (which is basically all I use) and it wont fire. did the five clicks of he fire button to check the ohms of the ViVi (which is 2.8) and all I get on the screen is "F1". So I thought ok, ill try one of my Kanger T2s and see if it works, and it did. So then I attached the other T2 that I have because it has a different flavor and....."F1" again! Is it broken?

Unscrew it from the atty connection slightly or adjust the screw on the bottom of the T2 so it doesn't stick out as much.

I have tried unscrewing it alittle, doesnt work. I am using an adapter with the T2s. I have 8 ViVi Novas, and they all work, but only one works on the Lambo, same goes for my Thor clearos, I have 3, only one works. Im very frustrated!!!

Anyone find an answer for this? My lambo4 now only seems to work with cartomizers... ...?
Worked fine with vivi, t-3 and mini nova for a while. Now f-1 with everything but boge cartomizer.
Firing the resistance check with no device attached gives an f-1 error so I can assume it detects an "open" circuit. I suspect a short would give the same error.

If it does not clear up by itself I will have to see what dissassembly reveals.

No contact will give an F1 code also. So it might be as simple as cleaning up the contacts on your novas.

Agreed and you may have to use an adapter. Mine is very finicky about what I put on them without an adapter! Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, its bizarre. Everything works great with an adapter though!

I am using several different adapters and gettying the same ressults. I will unwrap a new vivi nova and try that.

I'm interested if the new vivi nova worked on it. I have the 18650 version of this mod and I had a redux clearo that did the same thing when I changed the head out and cleaned it up it worked fine. I think the circuitry is just touchy about connectivity. I am currently using a pheonix clone and a did clone on it they both have the solid center pin connections and haven't gotten f1 even with them being a little dirty. So I am thinking that with the novas and some other tank like cartomizers with the open center pins if any juice or whatever gets in them that you'll the f1 code til you clean them up good. Meaning taking them apart and cleaning good.

Yes, I gave up and just always used an adapter. I have since retired the device though.
