I find it one of the more potent concentrates and never use it above 2% (often 0.5% is sufficient as an "enhancer"). I find it most useful to enhance bakery type recipes (things like cake, cookie, doughnut, and danish).
I also like HIC's comments found in his flavor notes. If you don't have them already I suggest you get them. He makes them available for free here. He recommends trying it as a stand-alone first (at 2-3%; I strongly suggest 2%). He describes some people getting a yeasty note (true for me above 2%) that is unpleasant; but they still find it useful (at low percentages) as a bakery enhancer, and to bring out hidden "spice" notes.

Does anyone else have recipes to share? Or is this just an unpopular flavor?

Not unpopular, it has it's niche. It's a good addition for any donut I would think. If you need to strengthen a pie crust, or make a fried twinkie. That should give you an idea of whete it fits in. Si gle flavor? No. Itcs an enhancer.

I have this recipe from Amy*** over @ ELR in the queue to make at some point.

Cronut
Glazed Doughnut (CAP) 2.5
Frosted Donut (TPA) 2
Cream Cheese Icing (LA) 1.5
Dulce de Leche (TPA) 1
Biscuit (INW) 1
Custard (FA) 0.5
Joy (FA) 0.4

Might want to Google "Joy (FA)", click the ELR link & read the notes from users... :D

I've read HIC's Notes on another site before today. I downloaded his notes in PDF form a few minutes ago. He certainly has an ability to analyze and detect notes in juice and flavors that I'm just beginning to learn to detect, thanks to his observations.

Zeppola (FA) is supposedly a fried dough(nut) flavor. After reading a little about it, I ordered a small bottle but haven't used it yet. It got really good reviews over @ BCF and the notes @ ELR were varied but interesting. Guess I should give it a whirl... :D

I've heard of it, but have no clue what it is. Or Liquid Amber.

Standalone it's just meh imo. It's mildly fruity, a little sour with just a tiny bit of sweetness to it. It gives a slightly fermented effect to fruits though, and most recipes i've seen use it to turn fresh fruit into baked fruit. Also used in Cider recipes.
