It's a start, thanks!
Any progress? Not here.
The best bakery flavors to date for me is : CA Sugar Cookie,TFA Belgian Waffle. Both are distinctive.
As to fears about fructose and other possible bad additives:
"It's funny, we're all concerned if flavors have anything bad in them and yet we smoked for years knowing it was all bad. I'm going to be ...... if I get hit by a bus. My last thought is going to be "But God, I only vaped the good flavors"."

The new flavors that flavorah is coming out with might make up for what your looking for but not sure.
Would not be surprised, took up DIY to cut costs. Flavorah pricing is too over the top for me when gambling on a "wished for" flavor. Maybe if they sold a 2 ml. sample for half a buck or so, might get more business.

Nonna's is more of an Italian spiced cake. Has lemon and anise notes. FA seems quite fond of the spices as other flavorings of theirs have notes like this. Myself I was never much into the spiced cake kind of thing. I'd rather just have the straight cake and I'll add my own spices if I want. To each his own cake.
Not to poach the thread but has anyone tried one of Capella's latest offerings... Yellow Cake? There doesn't seem to be many reviews yet, but the few that are out there are saying that this surpasses FW's Yellow Cake, and it doesn't appear to have the unwanted fructose (major coil killer).

Nice to know. Will keep my eye on this one.

To me, it is more of a spiced cake (anise & nuts) forward with lemon in the background. It is definitely a spiced cake and benefits from an added cream or marshmallow to soften the dryness. I don't know if you ever tried the commercial juice named "Pound It," as I suspect it uses Nonna Cake to achieve the spiced pound cake flavor. I have used it with other cakes and creams in recipes, but not as a standalone as I find it to be dry.

Many of the flavors with spice are dependent on % mixed to either work, or become drain food. FA Joy is one of those flavors. For me, anything over 0.50% becomes a pile of yeast and stale beer. It is in bakery recipes where one is driving towards a fried dough flavor. To me, Nonna's Cake is the same. As someone else mentioned, FA likes their spices and these flavors require finding your sweet spot in order to shine. Like everything else in the vape world, taste is subjective and some may never find their sweet spot for certain flavorings. It is not a one flavor fits all game.

I buy Nonna's cake for only one recipe

Simply Cannoli

It is an amazing cannoli and the rest of the ingredients hide the anise/liquorice well enough that it does not bother me. It's a shame because I love the rest of the Nonna's flavor but I have to bury it in recipes because anise even used sparingly hits my taste buds like a sledgehammer and really grosses me out
