FA vs TFA flavors

Some yes, some no.
Many of us buy flavor based on, well, um… flavor. If you want cheap, buy 4 oz of TFA for roughly the same price as an oz. Just click on the bulk size ling on TFA's website.

Many of the flavor manufacturers have concentrations at various potency. Some TFA works at 1% of finished product, some at 20%
FA also has some variation. FW on the other hand, is generally on the higher side. NET.com suggests their tobacco extractions to be used near 25%, NudeNicotine suggests their tobacco absolutes to be used around .5-2%, most of their sweet flavors from 2.5-7.5% etc…

Take a look at the TFA flavoring thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/336110-flavor-apprentice-flavoring-thread-156.html

for an idea of how many use the concentrates( taste is sooooo subjective)

Then check out the
FA flavoring thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-liquid-recipes/259070-flavour-art-single-flavor-percentages.html

Personally, I use more TFA than anything else but each brand is worthy of experimentation.
