Alright, so I don't mind posting my failed recipes as well as my successes. All is a learning experience. I just bought a whole whack of LorAnn flavors at my local Walmart, and was aiming at something sweet and fruity. I like to add a strong component to give throat hit; so far I have had good success with cinnamon and anise in very small amounts to give that hit. I figured the mint familiy of flavors might serve equally well.

Well... it didn't turn out at all like I expected, but maybe if you like a menthol tobacco flavor, this IMO tastes as much like tobacco at least as any "tobacco" flavor juices I've tried (none of which really have tasted like tobacco... but tobacco I'm finding tastes pretty gross now that I'm on e-cigs and have much yummier flavors to play with.. nonetheless..):

Base: 20mL batch 50mg/mL unflavored liquid
10 100mg/mL 100% VG unflavored liquid (from myfreedomsmokes)
7 mL 95% grain alcohol (Golden Grain)
3 mL 100% VG

6mL batch of 25mg/mL Menthol Tobacco (or BS F-up...):
3mL 50mg/mL Base
.75 mL Watermelon (LorAnn)
.5 mL Rootbeer (LorAnn)
.25 mL Peppermint (LorAnn)
.50 mL Butter Rum (LorAnn)
1.0 mL VG

I think its probably the butter rum that is giving the tobacco-ish quality, maybe the root beer a bit too. I can't taste the watermelon at all, and of course the peppermint is what is makes the menthol feel.

This does vap nice, so if you like menthol smokes maybe you'll enjoy.. Personally I don't... but maybe this gives me a start to developing a "tobacco" flavor if I leave out the Peppermint.
