Hello everyone!
My husband and I have only been vaping for a little over a month. We both were smoking at least a pack a day when we decided to try it out! My best friend had purchased an ego style vapor and was having great success with it, so we decided to give it a try! I have fallen in love with the unlimited choices of flavors, and more so the fact that my home and clothes no longer smell like and ash tray!!! I actually was walking through a parking lot the other day and someone somewhere was smoking a real cigarette and the smell was horrendous!! I can't believe I used to smell like that!! We are both down to using zero nicotine liquid, and neither of us have had a craving for the real thing! I am truly amazed!!! However I am now afraid we have traded one habit for another...or maybe this should be looked at like a hobby not a habit! Either way I am happy with our progress and can't wait to learn more about all the different mods and amazing things this new "hobby" has in store...lol

I have a friend that has dove head first into the mods and all that, but I am still using my simple 900 ego style battery. I did "upgrade" from my basic EVOD tank (I think that's what that part is called...lol) to a EVOD Glass with a double coil. I have noticed that I go through MUCH more juice with this new tank that with the other. I have also learned that I like the cloud of smoke but not as much as like to feel the flavor in my mouth and throat!!! I started reading last night about the different components of the liquid that cause these effects. I am still rather confused on that part though. Most, well all, of the vape shops around me are all "prepackaged" shops. You go in and sample the liquids they have ordered from who knows where and get a prepackaged sealed bottle and that's it. I (being the southern mom that I am) LOVE to come up with my own recipes in my kitchen, and that is falling over into my vaping. I am constantly mixing flavors...counting how many drops...telling my husband "here...trying this one"...and I would really like to learn how to correctly blend the liquids I get for the results I am looking for. I know I have a lot of reading in my future...but I am looking forward to it! Who knows...maybe there is a future for me with an "honest to goodness vape shop" here in my small hick town

I visited a friend near the coast and she let me taste a juice she was using. I had said I didn't want to use the "flavors" because if I was going to want a smoke it would be because it tasted like the real thing....I WAS WRONG! LOL I tried her juice...a menthol and cinnamon blend called Lava Flow (it's a MyStart liquid and you can order it from ecigcharleston.com). I absolutely loved it!!!! I went straight to her local vape store (listed above) and bought a 10mL bottle of 11mg. I vaped it straight for about a week and decided to go to our local "vape lounge" and try some other flavors. I settled on a honeydew flavor and bought a 6mg bottle. I started mixing these 2 half and half...from there I bought several bottles of 0mg in different flavors and mixed them with the other liquids I still had. As of this past week I ran out of the lava flow and have ordered more in 0mg. I have found that the throat hit from the cinnamon seems to take care of my "need" to feel the smoke in my throat!!!
