Fake liqua and health question

Hello, i live in dominican republic and here there are not many places to buy ecig stuff, so i got my first one 3 days ago (i wasn't a smoker, i just got it for not enter smoking analogs), i got an ego ce5 with a clearomizer with a curved tip and with it i got a blueberry liqua very cheap, so i knew it was fake.

I've been googling and all i found its just the package differences, this one seems to be one of the good-faked ones [emoji28] and i want to know if this fake ones can affect my health or anything like that.

I've been vaping it this 3 days with no issues, i just want to get a new liquid and i want to make sure that these fake ones won't affect me.

First of all, even though Warpigs apparently made bail and is back he doesn't appear to be in full form yet, so Welcome to ECF!

If you don't feel comfortable about what you're vaping or what's in it, then yeah you should 100% get other eliquid, period.

Cheap juice doesn't equal bad juice -- there are some very decent China or local juices out there. The issue is that there are also some others where they'll substitute various flavorings with cheaper ones that may not be good for you at all, and in some cases we know aren't. Vaping for 3 days is unlikely to ever be an issue, or 5 days or 10 days -- these things generally catch up with you much later and you'll rarely if ever tie them back to that one time you vaped this weird stuff you found in a convenience store.

So, is there a way to know of these ones have those cheap chemicals?

If they have lab tests you can call and verify are real posted on their site, or you get it tested yourself, or you make it yourself -- this is a bit of the wild west complete with snake oil and relying on reputations and hoping companies are afraid of losing their reputations.

You can hedge your bets with more established companies and ones that seem more honest & transparent. Someone pointed out to me recently that if you're in that situation, especially overseas, using simpler flavors where the base flavor ingredients are super cheap ups your odds, as there's less incentive for someone to substitute a cheaper-yet-unsafe ingredient. Safest in that situation would be unflavored, and I'm not knowledgable enough about flavor mixing/prices to cliffnotes the ones to keep an eye on, but hopefully someone else is.
