Hey guys. Just received my Taifun GT from fast tech. I'm wondering...how low of ohms can I run on this? I typically like to be between .08-1.2 ohms. It will be sitting on top of my Stingray, or Kamry.

Also, I like organic cotton wick. Any tips or advice will be greatly appreciated before my first build on it.

Thanks in advance!

I typically shoot for 1.4 Ohms for my Provari - not sure about how low you can go

I have found that a cotton wick through the coil, whether a cotton yarn or from cotton balls, works great in conjunction with the addition of cotton yarn or xc-116 or xc-132 as a so-called "flavor wick" on top of the coil, especially to help prevent leaking.

In comparison to my kayfun builds at 1.4 Ohms, I find that the Kayfun has a bit better flavor, while the GT produces more vapor. Also, at 1.4 Ohms, I prefer the Kayfun at 3.8 volts, while I crank the GT up to 4.5 volts. I don't know if the comparison is useful to you or not, but I routinely use both devices on my Provari. I do use a nano Kayfun with my Nemesis in 18350 mode for stealth, but I don't sub-Ohm with it...

I appreciate your time. I love my my kfl, and will be very surprised if the Taifun gt outperforms it. I would definitely like to hear some feedback from somebody that uses it on a mechanical. When I had my Provari, there were definitely limits as far as ohms (sub ohms) go. But thanks again!
