About three weeks ago I placed an order with fasttech and paid by PayPal. Today, I assembled another order, however, at checkout, the only payment option available to me was Bitcoin. I began an on-line chat with fastech and learned that they now will only accept Bitcoin payments for e-cig related products. Bummer. I don't do Bitcoin, so, now, I don't "do" fasttech anymore. A shame.

Were any of your items Aspire items? For some reason FastTech only accepts bitcoin for those. It's strange.

To work around it you can either purchase a gift certificate with the mobile site or buy something else worth the same value and immediately cancel it and you'll get a gift certificate for that amount. You can use the gift certificate to buy anything on FastTech.

Better check what you were ordering. I just placed an order with FT for $50 paid through PayPal.(All e-cig) Saw Bitcoin available as an additional payment method.

Yes, as a matter of fact. I wanted to purchase an Aspire Nautilus Mini.

Must be a Canadian thing? I just put a RDA in my cart and was offered PP at check out?
I`m in California.

Maybe? I'll try again in a couple of days to see if I get a different result. At checkout, I had two payment options displayed - PayPal and Bitcoin. Bitcoin was already "highlighted," and when I tried to highlight PayPal, I was unable. A message appeared that PayPal was not available for this purchase. I activated FastTech "Chat" and was told that I could not use PayPal for e-cig related purchases.

I just tried out of curiosity and also couldn't use anything but bitcoin for genuine Aspire items. The generic Atlantis coils were fine, but not the authentic ones or authentic tanks. Kanger tanks were fine for paypal also.

It's most likely a Paypal policy and Aspire is flagged. It's affiliated with eBay and eBay doesn't allow vape related products.

Folks you're correct  It was specifically the Aspire Nautilus Mini that caused the issue. I went to the Fastech website and placed a dummy order for a number of e-cig items, including an "authentic" Kanger tank and when I went to checkout, all was good. PayPal was an available payment option. Thanks to all who responded to my observation and provided info. Much appreciated. None the less, I'm miffed with the dipsh*t (Glen) who responded to my Fastech on-line chat and informed me that all e-cig paraphernalia was subject to Bitcoin payments.

Again, thanks for straightening this out for me.
