Howdy, The FT Evods sure look tempting. I am confused about a couple things though.
The Ohm's are listed at 2.4 -2.6 [depending on where you look, ha]. I have a Vamo so they should be no problem but my out & about rig is KGO 3.7 V. Will these Evods even fire decently on the KGO batt?

Has anyone tried FT version of the Evod & if so what do you think? Also, any idea if the real Kanger Evod replaceable heads would work? I have quite a few of those.
I wouldn't mind having to purchase the knockoff heads if the FT Evods are worth a hill of beans, they do sell those in lower Ohms.

Any input much appreciated,

Thanks
JC

I am happy with my FT Evods, people say the Kanger heads are interchangeable with the clone heads (also Protank heads), they work fine on a standard Ego battery, I tend to run them quite low on my twist for most juices (3.4 ish) and around 4.0 on a few, but I guess that's personal taste.

you can get 1.8ohm FT heads too,

They work, do not like the FT heads but like the legit heads. Rather buy em badged legit and get them sooner with the ohm rating i prefer and a good head. Price difference to me is worth it for a head that works better (otherwise i have to put in one of my own heads)

Also they sell heads 1 buck each if you buy 3+ packs free shipping here

I used one today and it works just fine. I used the head that came with it....although....I always take off most of the top wick that is just laying on top. The thing or difference in the heads that come with it and kanger heads to me is it looks like they use 3mm wick then add another 3mm on top. Taking most of the 3mm off the top worked just fine for me. I don't use EVODs much but when I do I love them, always consistent!

There was another thread about this same thing not too long ago...

* Genuine heads work on the FT evods.
* The FT evods have been described as plasticy by several people.
* Once rebuilt, the FT evods work great.

Soaking the evod in alcohol and rinsing very well seems to help the taste a bit, but won't help the low-quality coils on the heads.

Sorry, bit confused. So are you saying that the legit Kanger heads will fit the FT Evods?
Thanks for the help.

Mine were junk. Came with a nasty machine oil type taste. Bathed them overnight in alcohol and while it was better but the oil taste was still there. I haven't been able to get it out and have just gave up. I can't recommend them at all. I replaced them with another order from MBV. They sell them for $5/pop and for that I'll get the real deal from now on.

Well, it sounds like the typical knockoff crapshoot. Seems like QC issues as some have worked fine & some have not.
I went ahead & ordered some & just hope I get some that are OK. It's just that pricing thing when I'm on a no budget, budget.

Thanks for all the input. I'll let you know what mine turns out like if I could ever find this thread by the time I get & use them.
It's just a way to fill up with various juices to rotate. I can only hope that mine turn out alright. For sure, I will give them a good cleaning first.
Are they as airy as a real Evod?

jcco.. i don't find the evod to be airy.

I have 2 FT evods but i swapped the heads out with the Kanger heads.. so maybe the FT heads have an airier draw..

I'm going to wash my 10 pack in dawn to get rid of any oily residue and just swap out the heads.

Dawn sounds like the stuff to use. Then, maybe a quick rinse with everclear.

Thanks !
