Its inferior, ive been using evods for months and have a few of them. The difference in wall strength, plastic quality, and metal quality are all easily noticed(i can pinch this FT evod and it bends...). Beyond that its 1 dollar, you could have the evod in 3 days and support a fellow American trying to get by rather than corporate giant FT in China.

You want to save 30 bucks on a mod, now we are talking something worth taking into consideration. Thats just how i feel about it.

You keep using your FT evods, i have no grudge against you or anyone using whatever device etc they so deem worthy, i just think the 1 dollar savings is being boasted about a little bit much by a bunch of people here and im just not seeing it as a savings in any fashion when comparing the options

Should also mention they're quite adept at slightly changing the brand names you DO see on their site so they're not breaking any copyright laws. Like their supposed Lavatubes are spelled instead as "Lava Tube". As for the Innoken debate, they ARE rip offs because they spell Innoken as "Innokin". Pay attention people... this is how you get ripped off.

everything ive got from fast tech has been genuine, unless it was labled otherwise. Even if something ive ordered (knowingly) was a knockoff, im good with it. Their warranty on all items is outstanding. You will not find one better.

That's cool DeeDee! The reason mine is in NJ is because I ordered from Singapore post. My mailing options were messed up and usps wasn't listed for me. My new order it's fixed now so my 2nd will be in Cali like yours

That may be the case with your local b&m.

A few examples, not counting tax east of Atlanta. Here, a ce5 long wicks is $15. For $2 less I can get a pack of 7 on fasttech (they called them ce6 for some reason). Here, one single replacement head is $5 and they don't know what ohms it is because they say "as long as it's getting current it doesn't matter". Fasttech is $4.47-$5.07 for a pack of 5 depending on the ohms. Kanthal and wick material are cheap enough to order here and save even more if you want to re-wrap but some have the confidence to try and some (like me a week ago) don't know you can do that.

Here, I can't even buy an eGo battery by itself. Kits cost $40 or more and all you get is a thumb charger, 1 battery (650) and a CE4. I can get a battery from FT for $5. FT also has kits with 2 900 batteries, 2 rebuildable clearos, a corded usb charger, a wall adapter, a needle topped 30ml empty bottle and a decent carrying case for around $17.

Cheapest juice I've found here is over $5 for 10ml Dekang. FT I can get a 30ml.

Do I need to go on?

I'm talking about the evods and the hype on them, nothing else really other than the mention of the huge difference in mods prices. So by all means go on, its not relevant lol =)


Edit to mention I was showing a minimal price difference, if you're saving a TON of money that's pretty great. I also doubt the quality of those cheapie x in 1 kits...but I posted a review of my 5 dollar dekang strawberry, and its some good juice for the money. Way I'm seeing it is FT is an option but its not a 1 stop for everything for me

I agree,for me the value of a thread like this is for people to share their experiences with the products they get and others read that and the info helps to make a decision on whether or not the price difference will give them value or not.

I have yet to hear a glowing report on the ego style batts.

For me,even a free battery that doesn't work has no value at all,so to pay even a dollar for one is pointless.

I thought they raised the price at first but this $10.28 package doesn't have a beauty ring and replacement head if you look closely at the box image (the last one), the $12.09 does.

I'm just curious, and not trying to make an issue or anything...but with everyone jumping on ordering from China directly from Fast Tech...well...I'm just wondering about the stateside vendors and stuff. I mean...it can't be good for their business. And I know they can't compete with the prices. After all..they are trying to run a business too. Just curious if anyone has any thoughts on this.

Seems like many are eager to support the small vendors and "Mom and Pop" and entrepreneur vaping business as we know it when it comes to Big Tobacco...but have no problem jettisoning them for the China direct angle. Am I just reading this wrong, or ...??

When more and more mom and pops shut down what do you think will happen with these china prices? Fast Tech just a few days ago listed the Pro Tank with a price of $9.... yesterday $10.... Today $12....

It will make it much simpler for the government to hand this industry over to big tobacco with fewer local businesses.

On that note many of the local shops could do much better with the prices... Many buy the China mods in bulk and mark them up 300%. $80.00 bucks for a vamo body only.... egos kits for $45.00.... We know you need to make a profit but you sure don't need to make it all in one sale!

That one for $10.28 I purchased for 9 bucks a few days ago... It shows out of stock... The latest listed that is available is up to 12 bucks... A few days ago one of the bigger state side vendors had them for 12 bucks (with a code) and 1.99 shipping....

Plus the state side version came with 3 heads total
