Hi pcrdude,
Since the shipping is free, why would anybody want to stock-up without trying first? Honestly, half this forum is about things not working or not working well. I made that mistake almost a year ago, my first 5 pack of clearomizers and not a one could hold liquid.

Maybe habit of consolidating orders where shipping isn't free? Maybe trusting the experiences of other ECF-ers? Maybe wanting to stock up to avoid waiting for stuff in the future?

Take your pick, suggest another , or call me crazy. ;)

Going back to happy experiences just got my nitecore charger, panasonic 18650's, ultrafire 18350(i know they are crap). The weird thing is that the mailman left 1 package at the post office -.- i suppose i'll get my svd with juice tomorrow :p

Heck, I'm the guy that buys the Big Red Crap battery that everyone knows isn't anywhere near 3000mah.

Hi puchox, Thats a quote from an important person who has been vaping since April 09

OK, my age is definitely going to show, so to all you younguns, patience!

I remember all the negativity and insulting of the "Made in Japan" stuff that flooded North America in the '50s and '60s, the depreciating comments like "Made in Japan? Cheap garbage..." Then it was "Made in Korea? Cheap garbage..."

And now? Japan and Korea have dominated the world in innovation and production for the last couple of decades, and it isn't over yet. China is on the verge of doing the same, if it hasn't already done it. Historically, they have always been top in trade and commerce. Think 'paper', think 'the Silk Road'... they're just coming back into play from a century of lesser activity.

The Asian Economic Tigers are our present leaders, and IMHO, we will benefit from it.

I had a poorly manufactured vivi nova head from them that nearly ruined a pv, too many wick slots cut into it. They sent me some extra heads and a whole new vivi nova to make up for it.

My wife has the Evod. She loves it. Her son got it for her for mothers day. With his employee discount he paid $47.00. It comes with 2 complete Evods and a charger. fasttech really has the better deal though.

Easy... if there is no brand name in the description they're generic or fakes.
If description has the brand name they're the real deal.

But Vamo doesn't use a brand name.
I guess a better way to put it is what are and aren't junk? I don't really care if I get a non-Joyetech eGo battery if it has the same battery and same electronics but lacks the name.

I think I've figured it out as far as Vamos go. I went to the alleged OEM's site and it seems they sell the VAMO PCBs separate fairly cheap (and their Vamos in bulk are also cheap). My guess is they are basically open sourced. Buy the PCBs, spin the tubes out and you're making a "genuine" Vamo.

I'm tired of people saying that it gets "stuck" in san fran, it's just in transit it doesn't get updated for 2-4 days.

My package is stuck in San Fran and hasn't been updated for 2-4 days :D

Depending on where it's going you have to admit, no update for 2-4 days is a bit odd. I figure my package goes from San Fran on a plane to St Louis or Chicago, that should be an update the following day as there are daily flights to those hubs. USPS has the crate sitting somewhere without scanning it in.
Even if for some strange reason it took a ride on a truck across country I would think by Denver it would get scanned.

I think I touched on this in another thread but......Mine was in transit for 4 days (Departed on the 26th, delivered on the 30th)). You'd think it would be loaded on a plane but it obv isn't. They put that bad boy on the slowest moving truck headed east.

I think they use goats.
Strap them on the back of some goats, slap them on the .... and let them go. They don't really have a choice but to head east from San Fran.

Should I order a Vamo from them???

I ordered one and received it 2 weeks ago. It is the exact same device that you would get from a vendor here in the US. Only small problem I had was the contact in the 510 connection got pushed down past the rubber washer, which was causing it not to fire or reading 9.9 ohms on everything put on it. I was able to fix this in under 5 minutes using a guide posted on reddit( http://www.reddit.com/r/electronic_cigarette/comments/17ai9i/low_ohm_reading_on_vamo/ ). I haven't had any other problems.

What i dont get is why people's disgust for Asian products only applies to certain things...nobody says "oh, this samsung phone was made in korea? Im gonna go look for an american phone" or "this computer is made in china?" "this microwave is from taiwan?" Like I wonder if folks really realise what thier lives and thier wallets would look like if we could only buy american products...
