ive had one of those chargers before.. a transistor popped on me. id suggest getting a backup charger if you get that kit.
I just ordered the silver one. I already have a good charger, so the one in the kit will only be a backup. I'm tired of cheap ego batteries failing, so replaceable 14500s seems like just the thing for me. ( I just got one of these a few days ago https://www.fasttech.com/products/1343800)

That's a good question... Maybe it's a function to zap any other mods in the area operating in 'stealth' mode??
I always discount the chargers included in the kits... Mostly just good as a backup... Have a good 4 bay charger that's in constant use...

Concensus of one (me) says it works well. It has three step voltage selection, 3.5V, 3.7V and a high which seems to run at full batttery voltage. It's about the length of a ego 900mah and just a little wider. I use it at 3.5V and 2.6ohms. Two 700mah efest batteries would get me through a whole day (4 to 5ml). Ego and 510 threading.

Seems like many of you have ordered from FastTech and had good experiences, which is good. I have avoided ordering from overseas companies because experience (with non vaping stuff) has been that shipping takes forever and I am not a patient person once my dollar has been spent.
Of course I have seen a many good deals and heard many good things about FastTech here and am very interested in this product. WHat is your experience with shipping from them? I know they ship USPS once its in the sates but do the ship from warehouses in the states or does it have to meander through the HK post first before hitting a boat and then the USPS? The last thing I ordered from HK only spent 4 days in the hands of the USPS but spent 3 weeks getting into their hands.
I also noticed that the plug type is Euro for the charger. This would make the charge unusable for me - what do you do to get around that? Not sure I want a product i immediately have to but additional accessories for.

Usually within 8-12 depending on where you are. Unless of course the item in question has a long "Ships In" date. Most of my orders usually have a couple items that ship in 3 days and still take on avg 10 days to IL.
I don't worry about the wall warts.. got enough here.. Fasttech has been consistent with under 2 weeks from order to door for me..
If you go on the FT website (using the linky posted by the OP ... go to the drop down box top right(ish) showing the description of the product your looking at ... hit the "down" button & you will see the "VARIATIONS" to that particular model .. just choose the "US PLUG / ADAPTOR" .. & order away ..

Thanks for the info, I think I may give it a shot. I mainly use mods but sometimes I like the stealth factor of an ego but don't like ego chargers and like the option of being able to replace the battery. Years ago, I tried the (i don't even know what its called) but it looks like an over sized ego, was poorly made and took a 14650. I thought I had ordered a standard ego but got this crazy thing. It was horrible so I didn't want a repeat of that debacle again. These look a lot better and the technology is a lot better now so I figure I will take the plunge.
unless there is some random chinese holiday orders usually make it to your door in 2 weeks or less.
Am interested in getting one for the wife (now uses Vision Spinner 1300's. I read where they will also charge with an Ego charger, so may just get a couple. Also was wondering about batteries. The Fasttech kit comes with 2 900's, but I don't have any idea how good they are. Will the thing use higher Mah batteries, or could someone recommend the best batteries to use? I order from Fasttech all the time, but usually buy my batteries elsewhere - like Panasonic for my Vamo.
I haven't seen any 14500 battery higher than 900mAh. I have 2 of the golden eCabs, one for me and one for the wife. Fits perfect for my slim mod in times I'm in uniform.. I just carry a couple spare batteries in a AA battery case!
Haven't really found too many places stocking the 14500's of late.
Ordered both with out kits from FT, mine broke and FT had no problems with a replacement!
