Hi All,

Thank you for reading. I recently got kayfun 3.1 clone from fasttech and noticed that does not matter how much I screw in or out the airflow screw on it, the airflow stays the same. Wanted to see if someone else had the same issue it seems like it is a screw more for just aesthetic purposes.

Had someone else had a similar issue. Do you think if I change the screw it will make a different and if it would then where can i get one?

Thanks in advance.

You may want to try completely disassembling and running something that will fit down the air hole in the block through it. Sounds like their may be turnings/junk from machining in the air path. Otherwise, air flow would have to be coming from somewhere else if you still get air when you close it all the way, i.e. a leak in the air path.

No but my damn airflow screw is stuck and stripped and I can't get it out! Advise?
Take it apart, and if you can, use something to push on the other side of the screw while you unscrew it. When you put your new one in, use some teflon thread sealer or something of the sort, to fill the gap where it's stripped.

If it is new - it is called RETURN - DOA damage

If you removed and cross threaded while installing - well good luck.
Russian is Cross Bored - No access from behind adjusting screw.

I didn't remove it and re thread. I thought it would be a good IDE to tighten it down all the way while filling the tank and must have gone too far so I think it may have been user error so not sure doa is a option here. I will try your suggestions from your precious post but didn't have much luck trying a similar approach last night. Thanks for the advice....
