I agree too-e-packet definite way to go. I just have to stop buying batterries so I can use it:laugh: takes 3weeks via Singapore for batteries-worth it to pay half the price though

Two batteries from fasttech, Malaysia post, 2 1/2 months.

I opened a ticket asking them to check if the boat sank.

I found paying the extra $30 for express is the best. It's better if you can get a few ppl together for the order, brings that shipping cost down significantly. Took 8 days after I placed the order to wind up in my grubby paws in Saskatoon, SK.

$30 to get it in 8 days, LOLOL, I pay the extra $2 and get it in 7-8 days everytime, your wasting $28

You cannot use this Canada Epacket for battery do.

Anything considered "hazmat" won't be shipped via E-Packet. I ordered a small butane torch and it was shipped via the same method that batteries are shipped. In other words, it took a while to get here.

For me the advantage of shipping the E-Packet is that it lands in Richmond BC instead of Mississauga ON. I've found the time spent in customs limbo in Richmond is substantially less then Mississauga. Best part of the epacket is that once cleared I'll be receiving my FT within a couple days unlike Mississauga my package will be minimum 10 days and travel past my house twice in transit. Since I live in southeastern BC I'll pay the couple extra bucks to have my parcel many days earlier.

And that is the dis-advantage for us out east.. I tried it and it landed in Richmond BC., then takes over 5 days to make it's way east, bringing the ship time back upto 12 to 20 days after it is outbound from China.. I stopped using it to come to Quebec.. no real time savings, otherwise knowing it is in Canada and trekking it's way across this vast country of ours.. :p

My last order landed in Richmond and was a total of 8 days from when Fasttech mailed it until it was at my door. That included CBSA time.
I think CBSA is a bit faster in Richmond then Mississauga.

I've been considering ordering from these guys but was unsure about ordering from China. After reading these posts I'm going to put an order together and see how long it takes to ship to Nova Scotia.

Thanks guys! I get so much great info from the forums here.

Got may last order in 8 days. My brother got his in 7. Also in Nova Scotia.

see and I have found the opposite...if it lands in Richmond, then it is going into customs and I have to wait forever but if its in Mississauga then I have it the next day...
