I suspected that this company was going to be a *pita* to deal with.... However I had been reading and watching so many reviews it figured what the heck I'll give it a try. I actually made three different orders : k2 mechanical mod Clone, and a pulse RBA, a second order with a kayfun Clone called the rocket and a cool drop tip, for my mom, and a fogger v2 on a third order. These guys over on China are so @&#*! Lame so far they've sent me a few different taking numbers for each order, saying they sent them out and they are returned so the used a different company to ship again and finally tonight I got taking numbers for usps for two of the three orders, they are received in Hong Kong today, which is what I selected as shipping on the first place. Still nothing on the first package with my first mechanical mod ever, hope it's not a total POS.

Has anyone else used fasttech? Are there any secrets of do you just order and forget about it and be surprised when it shows up.... If it ever does...

Anyone using any of the same toys I just ordered.
I also just bought an igo l from a local shop just to try my hand at RBA's and I'm enjoying it a lot. I'm running it on my vamo v3 not my ProVari, I'm scared it will fry it. And it seems cool, I love the ease of changing flavors and mixing flavors with it....

Anyways there's my 4am rant...

Hi

Lately fast tech have had some real shipping problems. What they describe might not be totally off from what happened.

I would stay away from fasttech until the shipping problems are sorted out. The source of the problem is carriers do no like to ship batteries, and Fast tech in their lake of wisdom kept doing it without proper packaging.
...... them off. So a tons of merchandise is now held up in Hong Kong, then it eventually is being returned to Fast Tech, no more slipping through the cracks.

I've got 2 orders in limbo. About 130 worth sucks

I've placed about 28 orders so far, and have had 1 - count 'em 1 - shipping delay/returned package issue. Shipping carriers do seem to be a bit hit and miss at the moment for some people, others are not experiencing more than an extra week's delay. YMMV, and probably will. Be patient - your purchase is inexpensive, may be very nice quality, but will not necessarily be fast. You can have 2 out of 3...:)

Like a lot of us regular customers will tell you: do not count on quick delivery from the other side of the world. Order things you'd like or want, but don't need desperately for the next 3 weeks. Do your market research, read the vast FT thread here and check out the FT social group folder here. Read the product reviews on FT. There is some truly great stuff to be had, as well as some garbage. FT has an excellent returns/RMA policy. They are honest and IMHO, are not out to steal your hard-earned cash. Just have realistic expectations and do your market research.

But Is that Only if batteries are in order or are other orders being held up too?

Just to clarify: the Hong Kong Postal Authority's clamp-down on li-on and lithium batteries was NOT directed solely at FT, nor did FT pi** them off particularly. The clamp-down affected ALL shippers using HKP, and since it is an IATA safety directive, other carriers followed suit and tightened up their shipping policies. Thus, SGP, Swiss, NordPost and others are implementing shipping regulations (dating back to 2008) stringently.

Of course FastTech ...... then off.
They continued to ship batteries after being notified by Hong Kong.

FastTech did not notify their customers about the problem and
continued to try and slip them through Hong Kong by wrapping them in tin foil.

Fast Tech should have told their customers, like any reputable company would have done.

I takes me four days to get a lame excuse from there "tech support", and you have to wait
8 weeks for them to confirm that the package was not shipped. Some people
are now getting their refund from September.
Look at the customer forum/blog on the fast tech web site for more info.

My advise stands wait until the shipping problems have been sorted out (no pun intended) before ordering.

1 order prior to Sept and 4 orders after Sept from fasttech. The battery order was prior. I have only ordered some Clove liquid. From time accepted at Hong Kong to Cincinnati (East Coast) was 6 days on 4 orders. One order made it in 5 days. All orders were clones, drip tips, and tanks. I have ordered knives, rulers and a solar cockroach too.

Not sure if I have been lucky or what.

Some of the clones are nice and others are junk.

@ vjc0628

I think its mainly for batteries, but then they need to confirm there is no batteries in the package
so if it looks like a battery on the scan I think that will slow it down. If there is a battery then it gets returned to
FastTech
E-juices should be ok I think.

I don't care for the juice

but I was going to order a couple more IGO's and a kayfun clone when its in stock

not batteries would that be an issue

I always figure for a 30 day wait when ordering fro them My only concern is
losing the order

with all this talk lately is it nonsense having mainly to do with batteries
or is there something to be concerned about with normal order's

@bluecat

The shipping problems seen to have started mid September, but got pretty bad in mid October
and now orders in November are hung up.
I've been on the fasttech site this morning and it seems that e-liquids seem to be getting out
if no batteries are in the order, but I think all packages are being scanned so a 1 week min delay there

Batteries now need to be shipped by global speedpost ($17.00).

Don't know how long the backlog will last, guessing a number of weeks.

I will continue to update the status of my orders.

Here is the response i got when asking for a refund for a order that has been sitting in hong kong.

We are afraid you need to wait for more days, there is cases that the package is being returned to sender through the acceptance office which is actually send out to customers, we are investigating and confirming this issues with our shipping agent.we'll keep you updated for any news we get from them.

Please don't worry we will arrange the refunding right away once we get it returned to us.

Many packages with E-liquids , batteries are returned, some packages with Mod are also returned by our shipping agents.

Thanks a lot and we appreciate your understanding in this case.
the package didnt contain batteries as they took them out when they resent it,guess i am not the one of the few lucky ones, story of my life haha,so we shall see how it goes, who knows i may get it before the new year.

Only order from Fasttech if it's something you don't need within a week. If it's just something you want, then by all means order from them and be prepared to wait. I have an order from 10/21 I'm still waiting on the refund for, but I will get the refund...prolly tomorrow, and life is good. There's nothing from FT that is needed right now so I order from them and choose to wait. No harm, no foul.
