I just looked at the 1st email fasttech sent me right after I made my order. The total cost was right at $3.00

I didn't pay extra for shipping [but] it says "Shipping via International Airmail"

I am calling a BS on that .... There is no possible way that airmail takes more than 1 month!

Jeeeze ... I have flown many many times between LAX and Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific ... it's averages to be an 11 hour flight ... Not 1 month!

I made an order recently from VaporBreak, which is a Chinese company, but the shipping was PostNL (Netherlands). It took longer to get from NYC to Atlanta, than to get from wherever it came from to NYC.

Sure it does. I purchased a Kodak Camera off Ebay - USPS dropped it into a black hole called Captiol Heights Sorting Center. 48 Days after figuring out what city/building it was in, I received it - 73 miles down the road.:glare: Yes, I had tracking on the package.(Delivery notification they call it to avoid responsibility)

Bottom line ... If any shipment that comes from Hong Kong to the US takes a month .... You can bet your sweet a-- that it has been setting for 3 weeks out of that 4 weeks someplace without going anywhere.

Where is just sets ... God only knows

We live and learn. Nobody is trying to give you a hard time about it - we've all waited on vape mail and it's frustrating. I just hope it doesn't put you off ordering from them again. I've made lots (like 10+) purchases from fasttech and had great experiences in all but one instance.

Ultimately, it's your cash and you choose where to spend it. I feel your pain though... nobody likes not knowing where they stuff is.

Heck, ordering from some places in the US is a total crapshoot. I can get stuff from connecticutt and oregon faster than I can get it from Florida -- one state line away!

I'm currently waiting on a pkg shipped from Utah -- ordered it a week ago today; it was shipped Monday, and the last tracking update says it left Salt lake city at 7:04pm Tuesday night -- if it's not here tomorrow, I'm calling USPS! :grr:

You know ... FastTech drums up a lot of business right here on this forum ... A lot of business!

Maybe it would be nice if FastTech could take 5 minutes out of there precious time and explain this whole shipping situation.

All they would have to do is tell us the reason why these orders just set for weeks on end ... Would that be hard for them to do considering the 'mileage' they get out of e-cigarette-forum.com?

Has anyone from FastTech ever even posted on this message board? .... I have never seen a post by them

Don't think it is a requirement to be a ECF Sponsored Seller to have the following of people that enjoy doing business with a company. Simply, they cannot directly advertise here.

As to answering.
1) They have no official spokesperson here. - Nikki seems to do a good job of communicating back and forth with Focalecig.
2) They do have their own forum and often update as to known issues with various Customs centers.
3) Once a package leaves their hands - especially one with No tracking - they have absolutely no control over its movement.

I'm not taking up for them. Simply putting things in perspective.
When we spend money and something goes wrong, we tend to blame the one that collected our cash - whether their fault or not.

I feel for you. I ordered with them once. It took over a month to receive it. Everything was in stock. No batteries. My payment was accepted right away. The root of the problem was the 10 days it took from me submitting the order to them processing it and finally shipping. 10 days of my order just sitting there to be processed and ship out.

By todays standards thats unacceptable. When I finally received it the order was correct, but 33 days? I also suspect customs rummaged through it and retaped it back, but I guess thats what theyre supposed to do. I guess.

Its basically personal preference, you get what you pay for. Id rather pay more and get it in 2-3 days, touched by less hands, less room for error and less sketchy if what your getting is the real mccoy.

There is no sketchiness about what you are getting. They are always very explicit if the item is genuine or not. If they say something is Innokin or Kanger, it is. If it says Innokin or Kanger style, then it's not.

Back when I first started vaping, Fasttech was often 60-80% less expensive than most US vendors. Now I see most products are around 20-40% cheaper. Sometimes I can wait and order from them, sometimes I don't.

As you said, all personal preference.

Also to address the point that they make a lot of money from people here, I'd suggest that the business this forum throws their way is an insignificant amount of their annual turnover.

For anyone that got this far, there is an entire subforum dedicated to fasttech FastTech

O, people...
Have you ever checked you orders?
Have you seen that some items are marked as “shipped in 10 days”? Fasttech do not have them in stock, they are just expect delivery in … days. If you want faster delivery just order items which are marked “shipped next day”. Then in just 1-3 weeks you'll get them.

I ordered a Hana clone a month ago. It was returned to them because of the battery. They told me they reshipped it but to expect 60 days transit. The tracking number has never worked. Who knows where it is.

That is what Kinda scared me when I Ordered Mine. That there was a Battery Included. But my order went thru without a Hitch. And I got it in 15 Days.

Guess the Planets were Properly Aligned that Day I did it or Something?

BTW - FT doesn't have a Sub-Forum here. But they have there Own Forum. And they Do Listen to what people say in it. Because Many People Complained about the Included Battery Issue. And they Now offer the Hana Clone in the Body Only.

As popular as FT is I wonder if they have considered opening different warehouses around the world.

I've been into RC (Remote Control) for many years and often use a China based site (very similar to FT) that has a warehouse in the states. The same product from the US warehouse is a little more price wise, but considering it is already in the US product arrives MUCH faster and worth the added cost. LiPo batteries arrive within 14 days compared to 45+ days. This same vendor also has warehouses all over the world and is extremely popular. Of course not all products are available in the US warehouse, but what a difference it makes.

I absolutely dislike when FT sits on an order for weeks before even packaging. Most recent package over $80.00, FT waited 21 days to pull and package it. I wonder if it was even going to happen, opened a support ticket, and a day and a half later they responded to the ticket, pulled, packaged, and shipped. Now to wait for the old man in the row boat to paddle across the ocean, hope he catches a good current or gets a tow in the shipping lanes from a larger ship to the US.

Has anyone from FastTech ever even posted on this message board? .... I have never seen a post by them

There's a lot of threads describing the shipping process from resellers like Fasttech from China/Hong Kong and even a Fasttech community forum on this board. Check them out and you will gain a better understanding of the ins & outs of buying direct from China.

I'll give you an overview of the shipping process that Fasttech uses... I'm a consumer who has bought direct from China a couple of years.

When you order from Fasttech... pay close attention to the shipping availability. "In Stock" means they have it in their warehouse... ships in 7 days means they order it from a manufacturer and expect it to arrive in 7 "Business" Days... Note: weekend days are not counted in that estimate. Also note... FT operates Monday - Friday normal business hours... Hong Kong time not US time.

Once you receive notification of shipment your parcel will take the following path. Note: I'm just covering shipments via Hong Kong Post or China Post... if your package routes through Singapore Post it will add an additional stop and handling from Hong Kong to Singapore before it's loaded on a flight to your destination country... Browse a global map to get an idea of the countries and where this stuff is traveling.

Package is picked up at Fasttech's warehouse in Guangdong, China by a transportation carrier then transported to a local Postal office. It's sorted by destination country and scanned. This usually where the status of "Acceptance" occurs meaning the Postal carrier has possession and scanned the package.

Next the scanned/sorted packages are loaded on a truck and transported about 90 miles to the Hong Kong AirMail Centre adjacent to the Hong Kong Airport. The AirMail centre processes about 700,000 packages per day.

Next the packages are scanned and x-rayed in the AirMail security center. Then processed by Chinese Customs. Any issues here can add days especially if your package is tagged for physical inspection.

Next the package heads to the cargo facility and queued up to be placed on an available passenger or cargo flight to your destination country. Flight delays, weather, etc... plus package weight and volumes can add delays getting the package off the ground.

Next your package will arrive at one of the international airports where US Customs ISC Service Centers reside... usually NY, Chicago, San Francisco or Los Angeles... Here is goes through US Customs inspection. If it requires physical inspection this adds delays also volumes and processing backlogs add delays.

Finally it is released to the USPS service and then makes it's way to your local post office and eventually to your door/mailbox. Depending on how good or terrible the USPS is handling things it can take days or weeks for your package to arrive.

Average time for a First Class package via Hong Kong or China Post is generally about 7-15 days. But Chinese Holidays or issues with air freight carriers can push this to over 30 days which is not uncommon at all.
