FastTech shipping time

I placed an order on Aug 13th, and made sure all items ordered were listed as "In Stock".

They split it into two separate packages for whatever reason. Nothing big size wise, all atomizers, clearo's, drip tips and such.

Got an email on Aug 16th that both packages had shipped, it included tracking numbers.

Received one package this Monday, Aug 26th. Still waiting on package #2.

FWIW, tracking for package #1 still said it was in SF when I got it. Package #2 is still reading Processed Through Hong Kong.

My order arrived. Here are the results:​

First package (four items)-
  1. Ordered on 08-18-13 around 1800 PST
  2. Shipped on 08-24-13.
  3. Delivered on 09-03-13 around 1600 PST
  4. Total time to front door (not counting first day) = 16 days.

Second package (one item)-
  • Ordered on 08-18-13 around 1800 PST
  • Shipped on 08-27-13.
  • Delivered on 09-03-13 around 1600 PST
  • Total time to front door (not counting first day) = 16 days.

What I find odd, is that the second package shipped three days after the first, but both were delivered at the same time.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I live in central California, kinda in between Sacramento and Fresno.

I placed an order 33 hours ago and already its been filled, packaged, and shipped from Fasttech and given to the carrier Singapore Post (no cost), and it includes batteries...don't blame FT for HK Post and HK customs issues..

also I placed an order on Sept 1, and it was in my mailbox on Sept 18 in Mass USA...and that too included batteries..

My order arrived here is the breakdown

Ordered on Sept. 11th, shipped on the 15th, acceptance on the 17th, then in the HK pit untill the 28th update to will ship. Arrival on Oct 3 (all us dates)

Note tracking got all wonky after USPS took over as in was never scanned to any US port. Scans skipped from HK to Greensboro NC. then fairly normal from there.

For what it's worth that's my FT experience :toast:

My Vamo has shipped! :banana:

I'm in the same boat now. I just ordered a Vamo V5 (shell only) today (12/16). This entire thread has made me feel better. I was reading horror stories about the FT shipping on their website forum, but those posts were much older than these. Maybe they changed some things to keep customers. I hope so anyway.

How is that Vamo by the way?

Taking a chance on my first order from FastTech, crossing my fingers but I figured if stuff is that much cheaper at FastTech then a wait is worth it -- just so long as I have a backup supply! Can't be in a hurry ordering from them, if I need it that bad then I will have to pay more for it from somewhere else.

Agreed! I can deal with a couple weeks wait time to save $20+. Luckily I have my entire eGo setup already with plenty of backups. Waiting for my first APV for so long will make it that much sweeter when it does come. :toast:

I now have 2 orders delivered and both took 20 days. About what I expected. I have a 3rd in the US but USPS tracking is not showing anything other than departed USPS sort facility and I bet it gets here tomorrow. 4th is in Singapore waiting to be shipped. Seems to be following the same time frame. Then I placed a 5th order but chose the epacket option for it. I want to see how the shipments differ. I will update.

FT shipping methods now are very poor and slow..many mods are still being rejected due to the appearance of a battery...US shipping is done by Singapore Post (SG Post)/USPS which is flowing very slowly and about a 30 day delivery rate but ego batteries, mods and liquids are passing through generally...USPS epacket China Post is fairly quick 12-18 days but very strict with all batteries and liquids, but an ocassional one will slip through..,,,HP post is again available but again very strict with all batts and juices and also 30 days, if they don't lose it or destroy it.. China Post , Swiss Post, and Sweden Post, are both about a 30-45 day delivery and rejecting everything...Europe so far lately has had fairly quick shipments in 14-20 days with SG Post and ego batts are usually ok..

The tracking sites ALL are terrible and never updated to the actual current status, so just ignore them..

FT has some serious isssues since August and are having problems getting their product to the customer, and if they do its a long wait with very little knowledge of its status , or if been returned to FT..and if after 2-3 months, getting a refund is another issue that is common at FT..

BUT, they do have great prices...if U don't mind the wait and possible non delivery and fight with FT for a refund..

Steve... FT does have a refund or replacement policy for DOA items ..and they pay for the shipping to return the item to Miami Florida..

How to return a product?
Here's what to do:

1.Items must be returned with original packaging, manuals, and all accessories and documents provided by the manufacturer.
2.Create a request by visiting this link: http://support.fasttech.com/products/RTRN
3.If a product is DOA or shipped incorrectly, FastTech covers all shipping charges. For all other cases of returns, a staff will quote you the actual shipping costs incurred (the non-refundable portion), and provide you a RMA number.
4.Proceed and send the items to the following address. Note that the returning package must be postmarked within 14 calendar days from the date you received the RMA number.
5.Processing time after your return arrives is approximately 10 days. Refund, should you request one, is sent corresponding to the original method of payment, and you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
