If it's free, it ain't fast...

Free shipping for them means they're going to strap your order on some snail's shell and toss a salad leaf in the desired direction to get the snail jumpstarted...

Learn some zen meditation, with a bit of luck , two major events will coincide : Mailman sets foot on your porch ( delivering your order ) at the same time first human sets foot on Mars.

You could speed up delivery time by clicking one one their 'express' options, which would eat up a considerable chunk of the savings you expect to make by ordering their in the first place.

Me, I did a number of orders with them. Apart from having attained an almost divine level of patience, I gets gear at reasonable prices...

Screw fastech I ordered on May 20, for my birthday the 23rd two Hana DNA20 clone mods, the Dna30 where coming out and preorder everywhere, so I waited longer than the two weeks then get the re-stocking another two weeks, so that's over a month and nothing, should of not waited, cause now you can't find very many DNA20's mods. So I cancelled my order, it took more time than they say to get my refund and I will never order from them again not when you find better quality in the USA just look for it, now I 'm looking for DNA30 mods, I found a couple of leads but haven't pulled the trigger yet

(this is an old thread so I'm guessing the OP already knows all this by now, but I'm putting it here for anyone else who is debating taking the FT plunge.

If you order batteries of any kind (be they external like efests or internal like a dozen egos) your order will get held up at customs in Malaysia (which is where fasttech has to route batteries through now). It will *eventually* get to you in 4-8 weeks. This applies even if you order 20 drip tips, a mech mod and one ego battery for a relative... that one ego battery will hold up your entire package. If you must order batteries from FT, split your order into two... one order all batteries, one order no batteries. That way your mods/kick/attys/etc aren't being held up by one lousy 18650 or ego twist, and your batteries get to you when they get to you, and you don't have to stress out waiting.

On orders without batteries in them, there are three "parts" to look for. The first is the "ships next day/ships in X days" line right near the buy button. A lot of stuff on FT is not actually currently in stock, and they are not kidding about "ships in X days"... if it says 5 days, then most likely it will be 5 business days between the day you order and the day it even leaves the factory. When possible they try to ship sooner - I've had "ships in eight days" stuff get shipped on day three before. But they do tell you how many days it will be before they'll ship it, so pay attention. (If you're putting a big order together and half of it is "next day" and half is "ships in X days", it can be worth splitting orders along that line, too... otherwise, they'll ship the whole shebang when they *have* the whole shebang.)

The second stage is going from the fasttech factory to the US. That usually takes about five business days. Then, US Customs to you. I live in GA near Atlanta, so not too far from you, and my fasttech stuff is always routed through New York and takes about 3 days to get from NY to my house. So, if I order something from fasttech that is not a battery and is listed as "in stock", I will have it in my hands in about eight business days, i.e. a week and a half. If it's a holiday (US or Chinese) or whatever it is "ships in X days" or there are batteries of any kind involved, it'll be a longer wait.

Ego batteries do NOT have to be shipped via Malayasia Post and can be ordered thru Singapore Post..only external lithium batts must go thru MP...

BUT now every order that is made, regardless of its contents, will be opened and checked..and if its got any batteries it will shipped by sea...non battery orders will be shipped via air...but the inspection process in Malayasia is a long one , so all MP orders will now take much longer to reach their destination.....
