Fasttech tracking question...

So I placed my order on Nov. 23rd, got my tracking number on the 25th. USPS still has no info on it, however singapore post tracking says nothing but "information received" which i'm guessing means that they got the electronic shipping info, but have not received the package. My question is how long from this point does it normally take for them to ship the package? I'm not concerned about how fast it gets to me from when it ships, I would just like to be able to know where it is.

it won't tell....mine went with HKP and was just sitting there at the shipping facility....no new info, it was received there.....and sat there for sometime (2 weeks or so) and then one day it arrived in (I think) San Fancisco and a few days later I got the packet....the whole thing took about 4 weeks

If it is shipping via SGP, you will first get "information received". Then in 3-4 days (my experience, YMMV), it will change to "Despatched to overseas country X". X being the US in your case. After that it depends on how long it goes through your Customs and postal system. In my case, but I'm not in the US, it takes 8-10 days after it 'despatches' for it to turn up in my PO box. Nothing usually changes on mine between 'despatches' and 'the item was delivered to X'.

fasttech are thoroughly supersonic for free shipping (mostly) compared with other HK/Chinese sites, it goes with the territory ordering from the land of the rising sun sometimes it's a bit quicker, sometimes it's a bit slower and sometimes it gets lost. I shipped hundreds of items to the US, recently USPS have been dreadful sometimes it takes days to update any point to point movement. Bear with it, most of us are impatient for our Vapemail

Singpost tracking just stinks. I've had several packages which when tracked only stated "information received... blah blah blah". Give it about 7 to 14 days after you see this message and the package will be at your door. Don't worry about it.

It's only after the 'dispatched to overseas' that you'll be able to track it on the receiving end - thats when the data gets relayed to USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHl whoever. But since it's regular mail and not express, tracking 'check points' and updates are fewer. Free shipping means slow shipping ... Zen and the art of camping near a mailbox .... Ommmmmm...

I'm hoping it'll leave soon for the US considering it's been a week since I got the tracking number with no update to the information received post on the tracking number.

My last orders via SGP took around 10 days to move from "info received" to "dispatched to country". After that they take 9-10 days to my door.

So, don't worry if the status hasn't changed yet because it seems to be normal these days.(it was much faster before)

Whenever U order from China using any shipper, do NOT expect fast accurate updated tracking... as recent as 6 months ago they had no automatic machine scans and were using manual entries to scan and update tracking....so just expect the rrder in 15-30 days and forget about the tracking..

One of the two orders I have placed has a track num beginning with "L" and has been untrackable or unknown on all the suggested alternate tracking web sites. Don't know what to make of it, except to just sit patient.

Most all US orders now begin with LK..and because its nearing Xmas peak shopping and shipping time season..expect packages to be backlogged in acceptance or the initial shippers staging area for 10-12 days now before U see any changes.....but if its states NOT Found for 10 days, then contact FT and open a ticket..use 17track[Together Tracking], International Registered/Parcel/EMS/Express Tracking System to track

I ordered my stuff from fasttech on the 23rd of november on the 1st of December it said "information received" and it hasn't changed since. Any ideas on that because its been way more than 3-4 days.

I'm kinda Annoyed with Fasttech right now. All the orgers that I have done in the pasted moved alone Quickly. And I received my stuff in 10~14 Days.

Since they Switched to Singapore Post, everything seems to have ground to a Halt.

Thank you so much for this share. This is the only page out of 6 or so that actually shows me ANY information about my shipment other than "information received"! It shows processed and dispatched to transshipment hub. I assume this means it was sent to the boat. I don't care about the time, but with overseas shipments, I at least want to know they are moving and your suggestion gave me that warm, fuzzy feeling.
