Father's Day is Coming...

For those of you that still have your dad's around, and that smoke, anyone thinking of buying Dad an e-cig for Dad's Day?

My Dad is a 2 pack a day smoker, had a heart attack 2 years ago, and was told by the doctor to quit or die (basically).... Well, he tried Chantix, Nicotine Gum, and the patch... None worked, and he's still puffing away on analogs...

I've been thinking of buying him one, but figure he'll be hesitant to try or use it to quit analogs. I haven't shown him mine because I quit smoking analogs 2 years ago cold turkey, and he was so proud of me. I started smoking again about 6 months ago, and have hidden from my parents for fear of disappointment..

ANYWAY!!! How many of you guys have converted the die-hards (or die-trying) analog smokers??? I have been very unsuccessful with my wife (she won't even take a drag) but I'm really concerned for my Father's health... Any tips/tricks to help him with the conversion??? With me it was easy, but then again I was tired of the grip analogs had on me...

Is he cheap? Like me? It's the refusal to pay the taxes that have been slapped on that got me off the analogs, after 2 packs a day for almost 40 years. I wouldn't let those barstewards win.
Just saying what worked for me...What I have saved has already paid for my E-quipment and enough juice to last through the apocalypse.

Its a very good suggestion for a Fathers Day Gift. I think you would have to let your father try the e-cig and let them experience it first hand to see if they would like it and explain how it works.
If he tries it and you explain the health benefits from it, and the gradual step down approach, I think he would definitely want his own kit!

Yes he is... And I have no problems keeping him stocked with e-cig equipment on my own dime... So there's one point I can use in my argument....

i would get it for him and not wait till fathers day.

to me...you cant put a date on possibly saving someones life.

if he likes it....then get him an assortment of flavors he might like for fathers day
