My new Aspire ETS gurgled and flooded like hell. After several dry burns and changing juice with no improvement, I took out the coil and noticed the translucent rubber o ring was off center. I tried a bit but couldn't move it. Maybe this let juice slip through and flood. New coil fixed the problem, and the o ring looked straight on that one. Does this sound like a plausible reason for flooding? Bit of a newb obviously but I've noticed that once you figure out the quirks of any device you enjoy it more, and wondering if anyone else has seen this issue. I really want this device to be a go-to.

Don't use that topper, but from what you describe it does sound like a bum coil.
And right you are about learning the ins and outs of any particular device. They all seem to have their quirks which, once learned, make dealing with easy. And vaping enjoyable
