Faulty Hello 016

I posted a while back about how I had a mega charger melt while charging an old 016 battery. That happened around the time when I bought this new 016 battery. Since then I've gone through two mega chargers and now one regular 510 charger. The light switches between green, red and no light at all.

Today I've discovered a new problem with the unit. When no atty/carto is attached, the LED would indicate that the battery in functioning properly. If I attach an atty or carto, it begins to blink as if the unit is out of power. I'm pretty sure the unit is faulty, but I was wondering if there was anything I could do to salvage it. Until I get paid and buy a new mod (I'm done purchasing these 016 units, to many problems.) this is the only device which lets me use LR atties.

I am having this problem just ordered a large number of these units for a site im building and have had this happen to a few of them. Can put a new atty in and it works fine and the old atty will work in another device. Im not sure if im willing to sell the units if this is going to mean over half will come back.
