I have 11 Ibtanks, 1 Prive Special, 1 Phiniac, 1 Loki Tank. I leave about half of the tanks at office and the other half at home.

On my Provari, favorite is Prive Special, and only because I don't have to mess with Pro-Ring or Hippo to get that flush look (a big deal to me) . Otherwise I would rate it last due to its PMMA tube (I prefer Pyrex glass) and frosted finish (I prefer clear).

2nd favorite would be IBtanks (actually my #1 favorite when I'm using my other PV such as SVD & EVIC). Should be obvious since most of my tanks are from them. lol. Very good quality and very affordable.

3rd would be Loki Tank because of its slots on bottom cap for air flow on Provari.

Last would be Phiniac. I do like it and use it daily, but if I"m in the market for new tank now, the priority would go to one of the three above.

I like my Ibtanked the best...don't bother with the ones with the plastic endcaps though. I had one thinking I was safe cause it was made out of polyprophelyne but then it melted the endcaps into goo!

You can get the a kit from IBTanked for $25 including the stainless steel endcaps and a tank filling tool. It is the least expensive of the Pyrex tanks. For the 19mm you do not need a Pro Ring, but you do for the 22mm. If you use flanges cartos, airflow is not an issue for tanks without the air channels, as a gap occurs with them.

I currently have over twenty cartotanks from IBTanked, Phiniac, Hoosier Vapes, Valley View Vapes, Vaperfexion, and My Vapor Store (Smoktech).

My favorites are the IBTanked. Five 22mm and seven 19mm. High quality, elegant yet tough, affordable. I can easily purchase two or three IBTanks for the price of a single Phiniac, Elegance, or Pro-V tank. They vape no different than the more expensive tanks. A high quality cartomizer is far more important than the tank.

My fav by far is the mom and pop vapor shop tank w/ thumb screw. It is not the best looking one by far, but it makes up for it in durability. I have had mine for over a year and still going strong, that's pretty good considering I'm a tower climber and spend my day's 300 + feet in the air and it goes up every day with me. Nothing fancy but for around 12 bucks hard to beat.

I just purchased a poly tank from valley vapes, have not used it yet but it looks to be well built.

Quite honestly, my favorite tank depends on what I'm doing.

If I want style and function, its hands down a Phiniac or a Cirrus. They look great and function really well. The biggest draw back with these (and most other tanks really), is the potential for the tank to separate from the carto.

If I'm looking for capacity and security, a simple & cheap SmokTank UDCT (Artemis) tank serves me well. Not the most aesthetically pleasing, but they're locked on the flanged carto.

Phiniac and agr.. I like carto tanks that doesnt slip out easily.. The agr has a fill hole so once you got the carto in you wont have a reason to take it out unless you need to change the carto.. Phiniac has a good resistance to the carto, they use some pretty beefy o-rings so its pretty hard to take it out..

whats the difference in performance with a glass or pyrex tank compared to a plastic standard tank?
No real difference in "performance". A tank is merely a container or reservoir for the cartomizer, which is the real workhorse making flavor and vapor.

However, there are those individuals who can "taste" the plastic when using a plastic-tubed tank. Pyrex is an inert material, meaning it will not taint liquids like a plastic container might. There's a reason that fine restaurants serve water and other beverages in glass.

Also, there's a large number of flavors which can break down the chemical structure of polycarbonate plastic, often used in clearomizers and tanks. This can result in cracking or actually melting the plastic, and etching chemicals into your juice. Pyrex is completely immune to these flavors. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...6-something-safe-cinnamon-citrus-flavors.html

A pyrex tank looks very elegant on a PV.
