Favorite coils of mine are the Clapton Coil! Currently running two in my Hellboy rda at six wraps each. Center wire is a 26 with a 30 wrapped around. Kanthal wire for both wires. Reads a .2 on my sigeli 150 box and chucks the clouds!

Thanks! I've had lots of time and experience. Tried coils all the way down to .03 ohms all the way to 1.2 ohms. And thus far, my clapping around the range of .2 ohms to .4 are my favorite. What's a slick coil look like if you don't mind showing? That's a new one to me with the wide variety of coils out there.

Does everybody here make their own coils?
I have the Triton tank with the RTA kit. I like the flavor of the Triton. I prefer to build and use my own coils, but will generally carry a few of the prebuilt coils in case something goes wrong and I need a new one fast as it isn't always easy to build a new coil when you are out.

I like my tried and true Twisted Kanthal wire. Always dual coil, some horizontal some vertical. Just got into Temp Control so now I have a whole new mindset to get into but I still have most of my RDAs with twisted 26g dual coils normally .3Ω - .5Ω. Micro coils for my RDAs and standard coils for my RTAs.

@H3artl3ss696 I've only had my IPV3 Li for a few days, I'm still getting used to using it but the main selling point of never getting a dry hit is a good start. I'm using it in an RDA with single coil, I think I'm going to use it mainly in my Lemo's and Sub Tanks and keep my RDAs with dual coil Kanthal. It is worth checking out, plus you can still use these boxes as normal wattage vaping if TC isn't for you.

@isreah, it takes time and practice. Trust me. It took me about a year to get to get to the point where I can make some pretty crazy coils and mixing up ideas for them. @Romano Cheese, thanks for the links to the 150 box! I'll have to check it out now! Being able to run my claptons with no worry of a dry hit? Heck yes! Though I have no issue with dry hits on them right now thankfully...
