I love these Clapton wires choice for me is 26 kanthal with 36 nicrome I am currently running a dual set up in a goblin mini at 50 watts and I have no issues with spit back. I can't speak for the sub tank though.

Yeah well, Subtank has this coil directly lined up with the driptip so once the juice heats up it pops from between the wires right to the mouth. That's just the way it is. I'm gonna have to give Zephhrus a shot.

I made a couple of holes in a syringe and thread the wire as in the image, as long as you keep a little tension on the wire you are using to wrap you'll get perfect results every time.

If I don't have a drill around and the core wire is thick enough I just bend the beggining at about 45° and spin it with the index finger while feeding the outside with the other hand's thumb and index.

u guys do know that UD already sells premade clapton wires in 5 meter lenghts ?
