What about?
Marcus Welby, MD.
There was another medical show that starred Sam Jaffe and started out with him drawing symbols of man, woman, birth, death and infinity.

But, my all time favorite was Sea Hunt! At my Grandmother's house for the summer, we would walk to the neighbor's house (1/2 mile away) so we could watch it, cause my grandparents did not have a tv. They told me that I would act out the show in my sleep that night after watching it.

My favorite of all time was probably "Kung Fu", with the late David Carradine as Kwai Chang Caine.

Sea Hunt! wow. forgot all about that one. that was probably my first glimpse of another world, and ended my "i wanna grow up to be a cowboy" period. years later i learned to scuba dive because of that show.whenever i was diving i had a lurking fear of stumbling across a moray eel thanks to one of the episodes :)

thanks for that memory!

Ben Casey?

Yes, I loved Welby too! And I do remember Sea Hunt, and Flipper!

If you have Netflix I think any woman would love McLeod's Daughters. It was a show I was very wrapped up in watching. And it was the only show I can remember sending me outside to prepare myself for the next scene. I will have to watch it again.

Nobody mention House!? Loved that series and Boston Legal two of my favorite network shows. Just about all of HBO's shows, even Sex in the City. Got hooked by my wife watching it. Some oldies I liked Kojack, Starsky & Hutch, Hillstreet Blues, Baretta.....

Oh ya.... I can't believe I forgot that one. House.

Wait a minute....drama, not sci-fi? :?: Well, I'm screwed. I'm an uber geek, just can't get into drama. :p

Edit: Oh...but I did like Lie to me, Pretender, Mentalist...they aren't sci-fi.
we love all those... serenity... mad that 1 was nixed. Hate Dexter, that show creeps me out!!
